Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 Humanoid Combat Computer

The Donquixote Family is full of lunatics who like to betray their class.

Hogback was like that, Christopher is like that now, and Mjosgard will be like that in the future.

Even Rosinante had more or less some issues.

Among them, Hogback was more like an idealistic person unfamiliar with the ways of the world, regretting giving up his Celestial Dragons status just a few years later.

Mjosgard, after being rescued on Fish-Man Island, had a feeling of great enlightenment.

In fact, it might have been influenced by Queen Otohime's innate Observation Haki.

Christopher, however, was completely different from the other two.

The biggest difference was that Christopher possessed extreme strength, even capable of contending with Garin for a short period.

But it is foreseeable that this guy's end will not be too good.

Even if the Knights and the Gorosei are wary of the repercussions and won't directly conflict with him in Mary Geoise, Christopher has already alienated himself from the Celestial Dragons race.

A person who betrays their class easily becomes disliked by both sides, neither here nor there.

What's more, this goes against Imu's fundamental policy for the Celestial Dragons.

Imu grants the Celestial Dragons infinite privileges, placing them at the pinnacle of the world from birth, enjoying all glory and wealth.

Want to enjoy it forever?

Then listen to Imu and do things that satisfy Imu, joining the God's Knights.

Imu will bestow immortality upon them.

However, once they do something that displeases Imu, their ability to live forever will be revoked, just like Saturn, and they will instantly turn into withered bones.

A carrot in one hand, a stick in the other.

And class traitors like Christopher, who sympathize with Fishmen and are unwilling to even take the first step of enjoying life wantonly, are destined to not be on the same page as Imu.

It is predictable that if Christopher is not dealt with this time, he will definitely cause bigger trouble in the future.

But this is normal, after all, the Gorosei are best at dragging simple matters until they become complicated and unmanageable.

Of course, all of this has nothing to do with Blake, who is far away in North Blue.

Blake didn't even know what happened in the Eternal Room.

He had few friends among the Celestial Dragons, choosing to be low-key and unsociable while blending in.

Blake had finished his activities with Stella and turned his attention to his system.

Before Blake turned sixteen, he had accumulated ten unbeatable cards.

After a period of improvement, Blake had already defeated the young Kizaru and the infant Linlin among them.

The remaining eight cards were all top experts with Admiral-level combat power.

Monkey D. Garp (Youth)

Gol D. Roger (Youth)

Figarland Garin (Youth)

Zephyr (Youth)

Shiki (adult stage)

Patrick Redfield (adult stage)

Edward Newgate (elderly)

Sakazuki (elderly)

Looking at the appearance of the first four, this so-called youth stage was earlier than the God Valley battle, and their strength had not yet reached its peak.

Golden Lion and Red Earl were the strongest among these eight, with both in their prime during their adult stage.

The elderly Whitebeard was in the state he was during the Marineford War, with a clear decline in strength.

Although his explosive power was still very strong, his body clearly couldn't sustain many exertions, and his combat power itself had also begun to decline.

The elderly Akainu was an image that had not appeared in the original work.

However, according to the general state of the Marine, even a seventy-year-old Akainu could maintain a considerably good condition.

Blake thought long and hard and concluded that the weakest among these eight was Zephyr in his youth.

He looked at Zephyr, who was stored above, and then at the card he had just drawn: Dracule Mihawk (Youth).

Blake still decided to fight Zephyr first.

Hawkeye is the world's Great Swordsman, and even in his youth, his swordsmanship attainments would not be low.

Blake planned to have a sword fight with him, believing it would enhance his understanding of swordsmanship and help him fully utilize his sword-related ability cards.

Before that, he could first use Zephyr's ability card to strengthen himself.

Entering the System Space, it was still a dark-colored rocky beach this time.

Blake slung the three-meter-long blade over his shoulder, and the Conqueror's Haki, mixed with Ghost Qi, caused cracks to appear in the rocks.

Both the blade and the cape lifted in exaggerated arcs.

Clearly, his Conqueror's Haki had reached a level where it could affect reality.

Blake transformed into an afterimage, the silver rainbow dragged by his long sword carving a persistent vacuum zone in the air, slashing out a sword energy several tens of meters long.

Zephyr's counterattack was like a precisely calibrated war machine; when his right fist, encased in top-tier Armament Haki, struck, the air was compressed into a translucent shockwave cone.

The moment Blake spun to dodge, he realized that the straight punch had three parts of reserve strength, and the subsequent elbow strike accurately predicted all his dodging angles.

Zephyr's elbow struck Blake's chest hard, sending him flying dozens of meters backward.

Blake looked down at his torn clothes, felt a surge of blood and qi within him, and showed a look of surprise:

"Hey, hey, hey! What is this? A humanoid combat computer?"

At this moment, Blake finally understood why Zephyr held the rank of Admiral despite not having Conqueror's Haki or powerful Devil Fruit abilities.

Besides his Armament Haki, which had been refined to the extreme, Zephyr's mastery of body utilization had reached a terrifying level.

Essentially, his fighting style was very similar to Blake's, both compensating for insufficient attack power by striking the enemy's vulnerable points.

It's just that Zephyr's physical techniques were more refined, and his combat experience was more seasoned.

If not for the Iron Balloon talent obtained from Charlotte Linlin, Blake would have suffered a great loss upon their first contact.

Before he could think further, Zephyr had already charged over. Blake drew his sword to block, and the two began to grapple... It was nearing noon when Stella realized Blake had not yet emerged from his room.

She thought for a moment, then entered the cabin to take a look, found Blake was still resting, and then quietly left the room.

Although Blake in the card space knew about the commotion outside, he had no intention of leaving the space; his battle with Zephyr had reached a fever pitch.

Blake's long sword danced with a dazzling silver glow, while Zephyr weaved through it with millimeter-precision dodges.

When Zephyr launched his combo punch for the eighteenth time with a 0.3-second interval, Blake finally figured out the pattern.

The long sword spun once in his hand, its tip striking towards Zephyr's left rib like a venomous snake, just as it had against Bullet.

"Surprise!"

"What?!"

Before Blake could gloat for long, Armament Haki oozed from Zephyr's pores like Blake magma, forming a crystallized second layer of armor on his skin.

Zephyr suddenly abandoned his defense of his heart, punching Blake in the head and sending him flying.

Blake got up from the ground, his expression somewhat bewildered.

The crystallized armor on Zephyr's body had shattered into countless fragments.

"The opening at the heart was a bait?!"

"I see..."

"He developed Life Return to the point where he could instantly strengthen specific organs, plus the crystallized Armament Haki armor."

"No wonder he dared to take my thrust with his heart."
