Nathan got weaker as the shtriga continued to drain him. It did not hold him but a force pulled him closer.
After a while, it stopped and Nathan fell like a rag doll.
Meanwhile, Felix was still searching for the Shtrigas. He walked down a hallway and caught a glimpse of it in the corner of his eye.
Unfortunately, the shtriga also noticed him. It charged at him and he ran in the opposite direction.
On his way to the Nathan, he ran into the witchy shtriga. He fired a couple of shots at it but only made it angrier.
He heard footsteps, he turned to see the vampiric shtriga behind him. On his right was a door that led to the morgue.
The vampiric shtriga slammed the door and it swung open. It lunged at Felix but he ducked and took shelter behind a metal cabinet.
It flew over him and fell over the other side. It knocked over the cabinet when it jumped. Fortunately, it did not fall flat but against the wall. Felix got up. He jumped and slid across the cabinet.
Before he could get away the vampiric shtriga grabbed his shirt. The sudden stop yanked him back. He hit the ground and the vampiric shtriga pinned him down.
The witchy shtriga got closer to feed on him.
As Felix fought to get free. His hand graced something on the floor. He grabbed it and stabbed the shtriga with it.
It roared and let go of Felix. He got up and then turned to see an embalming fluid nozzle sticking out of its neck. It was still connected to the holes.
'Deadman's blood had an effect on it. I knew it,' Felix though then seconds later the witchy shtriga grabbed him from behind.
The touch was cold but it burned. Felix pulled away but the damage was already done. He felt a tingling sensation, he looked at his arm and there was a discoloration.
Surprisingly, there was no pain. He actually did not feel anything, completely numb. He grabbed a saw from a tray and swung it.
He turned to see the vampire shtriga lunged at him. He threw himself onto a metal gurney and rolled it out of the way.
The gurney tipped over throwing him off. Felix groaned when he hit the ground. He got up but has dislocated his shoulder.
The vampire shtriga roared in anger and flung the tray of tools in his way. It charged at Felix.
It knocked him against the wall with one arm and pinned him with the other. Without hesitation it it bit into his neck.
Felix felt drowsy as the blood was being drained from him. He slowly reached for a switch near him.
He flipped it and the embalming machine roared. The sound vampire shtriga turned toward the sound.
He then ignored it and continued drinking. Soon a slurping sound drowned the roaring machine sound.
The vampire shtriga started to grow lean. It shrieked and let go of Felix. It sucked him drying leaving only a skin sack of bones.
