"The demon cop gave us three days, and today is the third day," Felix complained to Nathan.
"That has nothing to do with me anymore. Remember, Jane told me to stop hunting," Nathan said, and stuffed his mouth with chips.
"Still, we need to do something," Felix said and waited for a response.
"Fine, I'll handle it myself," he added and walked away.
"What is his deal?" Mark asked as Felix brushed past him.
He stared at Nathan on the couch for a while then walked away. He went to look for Clayton; luckily, he found him in the study.
"Nathan looks miserable. I think getting him something to do will ground him," Mark suggested to Clayton.
"Yes, I get it. The whole devil finds work for the ideal hands," Clayton said with his face planted in a book.
Meanwhile, back in the hall. Nathan was getting bored. He got up and roamed the house. Soon he arrived at the basement and opened the boiler room door.
This is the only part of the house I haven't properly explored, Nathan thought as he entered the server room.
He walked in between the rows of servers. He found the buzzing sound they made calming. After walking around for a while he noticed a room behind the terminal.
He tried opening it but it was locked. He looked around for the key. When he did not find it he went back upstairs.
"Clayton, do you have the key for the storeroom in the boiler room?" Nathan asked and Clayton shook his head.
Before he could say a word Nathan walked out of the office. He quickly followed him and watched him get a pinch bar from the garage.
As Nathan and Clayton walked in, Mark looked at Clayton for answers.
He shrugged.
Mark followed them to see what was going on.
"What is going on? Where are you guys going?" Felix asked when he saw them headed for the stairs that led to the basement.
"Nathan found a door in the boiler room," Clayton clarified and Felix joined the conga line.
When they got to the door, Nathan jammed the pinch bar at the edge of the door. He then pulled back as he tried to pry it open.
"Let me try," Mark said and Nathan handed him the bar and stepped aside.
Mark a muscular guy almost thrice Nathan's weight thought he was the best person to pry it open.
As he struggled, Felix chuckled. He turned to him and frowned but it did not discourage him.
Clayton searched around and found a tiny rectangular metal box. He placed it at the frame of the door to create a fulcrum. Nathan then helped Mark but the door did not budge.
All the while Felix stood there laughing.
"You know you could help, right?" Nathan said after getting frustrated by Felix's consistent laughs.
After the scolding Felix walked out. No one tried to stop him but he arrived minutes later with a short gun.
He walked towards the door with a smile on his face. The others moved away from the door and Felix fired at the lock.
Immediately he fired, an energy pulse burst from the door and blasted everyone away. The pulse knocked out even the servers.
"Was that magic?" Felix asked and Clayton nodded. They all groaned as they got up and dusted themselves off.
"What is so important, you seal with magic?" Clayton asked as they looked at each other.
"I have something that could help," he said, and went upstairs. He came back with a white stone.
"Siphon stone, smart!" Felix said.
Clayton placed the stone on the door for a minute and stepped back. Mark then used the pinch bar to pry it open.
The door swung open, and inside was a man.
"What took you guys so long?" the man asked.
"Who are you?" Clayton asked.
"How rude of me, I'm Corvus Crow," the man blurted out and they all looked at each other surprised.
