Chapter 26 - Back to Her senses

And somewhere deep inside, he also hoped-

Maybe one day she would finally tell him what had happened that night... the thing that completely changed her.

Lost in those thoughts, Doruk slowly removed his shirt because of the warmth in the room.

Nayza looked at him and suddenly smiled brightly like a child.

"You're so handsome..."

Then she laughed softly to herself and kept speaking nonsense in her drunken state.

"Your body looks so nice... give it to me... I want to keep it with me..."

Doruk looked at her quietly before slowly walking closer to the bed.

"You want my body?" he asked softly.

Nayza giggled.

"Hm... I want it..."

Doruk quietly turned off the lights.

Nayza looked at him innocently while Doruk slowly moved closer to her.

Their eyes remained locked on each other.

Neither of them looked away.

Their lips were only inches apart now, their breaths softly mixing in the silence of the room.

The faint moonlight coming from the balcony was falling over their faces, making the moment feel even heavier.

Doruk carefully held the edge of her clothes and slowly removed them while never taking his eyes off her.

And soon, Nayza was left completely bare in front of him.

But the way Doruk looked at her didn't feel rushed.

It felt intense.

Possessive.

Almost like he wanted to memorize every part of her exactly as she was at that moment.

Meanwhile, Nayza simply kept looking at him with those innocent, drunken eyes, completely unaware of how deeply he had already fallen for her.

Doruk's hands slowly moved over her skin, but the moment he touched her properly, something inside him shook deeply.

His breathing became uneven.

It was getting harder and harder for him to control himself.

But then he looked at Nayza again.

The way she was staring at him with those innocent, unguarded eyes completely melted him from inside.

Doruk suddenly stopped.

For a few seconds, he just stayed there quietly, looking at her.

Then he lowered his gaze and whispered to himself,

"I can't do this..."

Nayza looked at him in confusion, still half lost in her drunken state.

Doruk gently brushed a few strands of hair away from her face before softly saying,

"Go to sleep now."

Carefully, he helped her wear her clothes again and pulled the blanket slightly over her body.

After that, he sat beside her silently, waiting until she finally fell asleep peacefully.

Once he was sure she was asleep, Doruk slowly stood up.

He covered her properly with the blanket one last time and looked at her quietly for a moment, his eyes filled with emotions he couldn't explain.

Then without making any noise, he left the apartment and returned to his home alone.

When morning comes, Nayza slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she felt was a painful headache. Holding her head tightly, she whispered, "Why does my head hurts so much..."

She gets up, sits down, and takes a headache medicine from the drawer.

She quickly took medicine for the pain while sweat covered her skin. Sitting quietly on the bed, she tried to calm herself down.

"It's probably because I drank too much..."

Then she sighed softly herself. "And like always... Doruk must've brought me home again frome tha bar."

But suddenly, something felt starnge, Nayza froze for a moment. Slowly, she touched herself as trying to confirm something.

Then her eyes widened in shock.

She wasn't wearing her bra and panty. Her heartbeat instantly became fast.

In panic, she quickly pulled the blanket away from her body and looked down at the bed.

Both of them were lying there.

Nayza immediately panicked. Her hands started trembling as countless thoughts rushed through her mind. "There's no way I removed them myself..."

Her breathing became uneven. "Who came here with me last night...?"

Suddenly, fear filled her chest. "What if it wasn't Doruk...? What if I came here with some other guy while I was drunk...? Maybe I gave him my address and then he..."

She couldn't even complete the thought, Nayza's face turned Pale. "No... no... that can't be possible." Trying to deny her own thoughts. "How could I go with someone like that...? No... no..."

Suddenly, Nayza felt sick to her stomach.

A strange uneasy feeling rose inside her so strongly that she immediately ran toward the bathroom.

A few seconds later, the sound of vomiting filled the silence of the apartment. Her entire body was coverd in sweat.

After finishing and washing her face, she slowly walked back outside, still trembling badly.

"I need to call Doruk..." she whispered to herself nervously. "I have to ask him..."

With shaking hands and tears in her eyes, Nayza called him. Doruk picked up almost immediately. "Hello! Nazya good morning, is everything okay?"

Nayza's voice trembled badly. "C-Can you come to my apartment right now...?"

Doruk instantly became worried hearing her voice. "I'm outside with my father for a meeting right now, but... why are you shaking like this? What happened?"

"Please Doruk... just come quickly... " Hearing the fear in her voice, Doruk didn't ask anything else. He left the meeting immediately and drove straight toward her apartment.

Around half an hour later, he finally arrived and rang the doorbell.

The moment the door opened, Nayza immediately grabbed his arm and pulled him inside.

She looked completely terrified. Her hands were trembling while she nervously bit her nails, unable to calm herself down.

"D-Doruk..." she stuttered. "Who brought me home from the bar last night...? Look... my clothes were removed... I-I feel like someone came here with me and.."

She couldn't even say the words properly.

Her eyes were already filled with tears. Then she quickly looked at him and asked desperately, "Doruk... was it you who brought me home?"

Doruk looked at her quietly and nodded. "Yeah... I did."

The moment he answered, it felt like Nayza could finally breathe again.

Her shoulders relaxed slightly. Then she nervously asked again, "Then tell me this... did I remove my clothes myself...?"

Doruk looked at her trembling hands for a moment before quietly saying, "so you finally came back to your senses."

Nayza looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Doruk sighed softly and looked at her seriously. "After the day you disappeared, you became like a living corpse. You had no reactions, no emotions... nothing at all."

"What are you trying to say?"

Doruk slowly exhaled and looked down for a moment before speaking again. "Watching you like that for months was slowly destroying me from inside. No matter what happened, I just wanted to see you become the old Nayza again,"

He paused for a second before continuing softly. "And last night... you were drinking too much. I couldn't keep watching you like that anymore,"

Nayza stayed silent, listening to ever word carefully.

Doruk's voice became lower. "In the middle of talking, I told you there is someone I love. Then you asked me who it was..."

His eyes slowly met hers again. "And at that moment... we were really close that our breaths were mixing together."

Nayza in shock listening to him.

Doruk continued quietly, "I didn't think properly after that. I just... kissed you." He smiled faintly, almost helplessly. "And you were drunk... that you kissed me back too."

Nayza stood there completely frozen.

"That kiss felt long... but for me, it still wasn't enough." Doruk looked at her deeply, emotions clearly visible in his eyes now. "You can't even imagine how much that moment affected me, Nayza. I completely lost myself in my feelings."

Then he said softly, "at that moment... all I wanted was for us to stay together forever."

Nayza could only stare at him in shock, silently listening to everything he was saying.

Then Doruk quietly continued, "After that... I brought you back home.

"And... I wanted to spend that night with you," Doruk admitted quietly, "at that moment, the only thing in my mind was making you mine,"

A faint smile appeared on his face as he remembered it. "I took off my shirt... and you look so happy seeing me like that,"

Doruk let out a soft laugh before continuing, "You kept saying you wanted me... and hearing those words made me fall for you even more."

Nayza stood there speechless.

Doruk's voice slowly became softer. "I turned off the lights after that. The room was almost completely dark, only a little moonlight was coming through the window. "

His eyes stayed fixed on hers. "And the entire time... I couldn't stop looking at you."

He paused for a moment. "Even while removing your clothes, my eyes were only focused on you."

Then he said quietly, "At that moment... you looked beautiful. Almost unreal. Like moonlight itself had taken human form."

Nayza was completely shocked listening to him.

Meanwhile, Doruk continued speaking honestly, Without hiding anything anymore.

"When I touched you... I didn't feel like leaving you alone anymore."

His breath slowed slightly. "I wanted to feel every part of your presence close to me..."
