Chapter 32 - Misunderstanding

Just then, Yesir's phone rang.

The moment he picked up, Erhaan's voice came from the other side. "I'm back in Morocco."

Yesir's eyes widened slightly. "What? You're back already? When did you arrive?"

"A few hours ago," Erhaan replied calmly.

A smile instantly appeared on Yesir's face. "That's good then. Tell me where we're meeting."

"Velvet Hour," Erhaan answered without hesitation. "isn't obvious?"

Yesir laughed softly. "Yeah, yeah, I know. That place has been your favorite since childhood."

[ Erhaan was a regular customer at Velvet Hour. The staff and even the manager treated him and his uncle with great respect because his uncle had financially helped the owner of Velvet Hour in the past ]

Next Day, Yesir came to Velvet Hour with Erhaan after a long time. Both of them sat together at one of the corner tables while casually talking.

"So you came yesterday and now you showed up."

"Umm yeah I've arrived last night and yeah... I was busy too."

"How was everything there?" Yesir asked.

"It was fine," Erhaan replied casually. "I mostly focused on work while I was there."

Then Yesir smirked slightly. "What about a girlfriend or something?"

Erhaan let out a faint scoff. "No. I don't have time for all that. And you already know... love and all that stuff feels pointless to me."

Yesir laughed quietly. "Yeah, you and your obsessionwith no love life." Then he added, "I honestly thought you'd change after going there," Yesir said with a laugh. "But you seriously haven't changed at all."

Erhaan stayed quiet for a second before replying calmly, "Is that so?" Then a faint, unreadable smile appeared on his face, "But do I even have a reason to change?"

"And what if you find a reason?"

Just then, Leera walked toward them to take their order. The moment Erhaan looked at her, he became slightly surprised seeing her in the restaurant uniform, "Leera? What are you doing here?"

Then he looked at her outfit properly before asking again, "And why are you wearing workers' clothes?"

Leera smiled naturally like it was nothing unusual, "Yeah, this is one of my hobbies, so I thought I should try it."

Erhaan simply nodded calmly, "A hobby? Yeah.... a hobby." then added, "Good... Keep doing it."

Leera quickly noted down their order with smile, before walking back toward the counter. She stopped beside Nayza and said, "Nayza, please serve them. I'll be back after going to the restroom."

The moment Erhaan heard Nayza's name, his eyes slightly moved toward the counter again. He looked thoughtful for a second.

Yesir noticed him quietly staring and casually asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Erhaan calmly looked away again, "Nothing."

Meanwhile, Nayza prepared their coffee before picking up the tray and walking toward their table.

This time she wasn't wearing her cap, so her face was completely visible.

She calmly placed the coffee cups on the table. "Here's your coffee."

Erhaan looked at her silently for a few seconds. He clearly recognized her now, but unlike before, Nayza looked completely normal. She didn't look nervous or bothered. She simply looked like someone quietly focused on her work.

Erhaan didn't say anything. He just kept wondering in his mind why Nayza was working there.

After serving the coffee, She quietly went back toward the counter again to continue her work.

A few moments later, Erhaan casually asked Yesir, "So this is her hobby too?"

"Her who?" Yesir smirked

"Obviously Nayza"

Yesir paused for a second after hearing that question.

He couldn't tell Erhaan the truth about Nayza's situation, so he simply replied, "Yeah... something like that."

After that, Yesir avoided talking much about Nayza and changed the topic naturally.

DISCUSSING

"But uncle, how can I?"

"Listen, dear Erhaan. This contract is very important for us... and for them too. If we want this deal, then you'll have to marry Mr. Hdn's daughter."

He continued calmly,

"They're currently in Italy. If we agree, they'll come here, Morroco. We only have a few months, so you need to decide within that time."

Erhaan stayed quiet for a moment before replying,

"Alright, uncle. I'll think about it. At least give me some time."

His uncle nodded.

"Fine, dear. Take your time. But understand how important this contract is. You already know Mr. Hdn is among the top ten richest businessmen in Morroco and Italy too. Building relations with people like them is always beneficial."

Erhaan replied quietly, "Yes, I understand, uncle."

Then he stood up. "Alright, I should leave now. I have an important meeting today at Velvet Hour Hotel."

His uncle looked at him for a moment before speaking again.

"Erhaan, I've noticed ever since you joined the business, you've become too busy. Your whole life revolves around work now. Go outside sometimes... enjoy your life too."

Erhaan gave a forced smile. "Ah. Yes uncle, I will."

The atmosphere of Velvet Hour Hotel was filled with quiet chatter, clinking cups, and the soft sound of cutlery against expensive plates.

At one of the tables, Erhaan sat with a few businessmen, discussing something important in a calm but serious tone.

Just then, a worker hurried toward the counter with an order list.

"Nayza, these coffees are for table seven," he said quickly before rushing away again to take more orders.

Nayza nodded and immediately started preparing the drinks. A few minutes later, the coffees were finally ready.

Leera walked over to serve him, but the moment she saw who it was, her expression brightened slightly.

"Oh right… you've been a regular customer here since childhood," she said with a small smile. "Which basically means we're going to run into each other every day now."

Erhaan smiled faintly at her words.

"Yeah," he replied calmly. "Looks like it."
