While the Going Merry sailed toward the Grand Line, Sonic leaned against the railing and spoke to the crew.
"I have a goal too," Sonic said. "The first one is pretty interesting."
He continued, "I'm looking for something called the Chaos Emeralds. They're powerful gems from my world. Since I came here through the rings, I think those emeralds might also be scattered somewhere across this sea."
Luffy's eyes lit up immediately. "Treasure gems? That sounds awesome!"
Zoro raised an eyebrow. "Powerful stones from another world… that sounds like trouble."
Nami crossed her arms thoughtfully. "If they're real and valuable, pirates all over the sea might want them."
Usopp looked amazed. "Wait… magical gems from another world?"
Sanji exhaled a bit of smoke and smiled slightly. "Sounds like the kind of mystery you only find on the Grand Line."
Screen 2
Sonic rested his arms on the railing of the Going Merry and continued speaking.
"My second goal is more normal," he said. "Adventure and exploration."
He looked out across the sea. "For ten years I stayed in East Blue just watching pirates and sailors from a distance. Now I actually want to explore the world."
Sonic smiled slightly. "New islands, strange places, strong fighters… the Grand Line has all of that."
Luffy grinned widely. "Yeah! That's exactly why we're going there!"
Usopp nodded excitedly. "Adventure across the most dangerous sea!"
Zoro simply smirked. "As long as there are strong opponents."
Nami sighed but smiled a little. "Just try not to cause too much trouble on every island."
Sanji looked out at the horizon. "Sounds like a good journey to me."
Screen 3
Sonic looked back at the crew and continued. "My third goal is simple."
He nodded toward Luffy. "Help this guy become Pirate King."
Sonic spoke calmly. "The Chaos Emeralds are my own mission, but after traveling with you all, I respect your dream. Luffy protects his friends no matter what."
He added, "So if the crew is heading to the final island, I'll help get you there."
Luffy laughed and placed his hands behind his head. "Good! The more friends we have, the better!"
Zoro gave a small nod. "Then just make sure you keep up."
Usopp looked impressed. "That's a big goal."
Nami smiled slightly. "Well, our crew just got a lot faster."
Sanji grinned. "Looks like we've got another strong ally for the journey ahead."
