Chapter 16 - “The Weakest Deal, The Strongest Heart”

The classroom became quiet as Jeigan slowly stepped forward.

Teacher Liana folded her arms and watched him calmly.

Jeigan took a deep breath.

"Deal of Nature… Leaf Burst."

Deal Accepted.

Suddenly, a small burst of green energy appeared around him. Dozens of small leaves formed in the air and slowly surrounded his body.

But the power was extremely weak.

The leaves barely floated before falling to the ground.

For a moment, the class was silent.

Then—

Laughter exploded across the room.

Suire, Julian, Takemishi, Hanaume, and several other students started laughing loudly.

"Hahaha!"

"That's it?"

"That's his deal power?"

Jinha immediately looked at them angrily as they mocked Jeigan.

Suire stepped forward while laughing.

"Oh? So this is your special deal power?"

Jeigan lowered his head slightly.

His expression became sad and embarrassed.

Jinha felt bad seeing him like that.

Suddenly—

"SHUT UP!"

Teacher Liana's voice thundered across the classroom.

The entire class froze instantly.

"Is this what I taught you?" she said angrily.

"When you see someone weaker than you, you laugh at them?"

The class stayed silent.

"Tell me something," Liana continued.

"Jeigan's deal power may be weak, but he achieved it by himself."

"He has nothing to be ashamed of."

Her voice became even sharper.

"The ones who should be ashamed… are you."

She looked at the students one by one.

"You laugh at someone weaker than you."

"But can you teach him how to become stronger?"

No one spoke.

"That's the real shame."

She turned toward Jeigan.

"Jeigan."

"Don't be sad."

"Just because your power is weak today doesn't mean you are weak forever."

"Believe in yourself."

"Tell yourself that you can become strong."

"Now go back to your seat."

Jeigan bowed slightly.

"Thank you, ma'am… for motivating me."

He walked back to his desk and sat down.

The class was quiet now.

But Suire, Julian, Takemishi, and Hanaume were staring at him angrily.

Julian clenched his teeth.

I will never forgive him…

Because of him, I got scolded by Teacher Liana.

Jeigan looked toward Jinha.

Jinha smiled gently.

"Jeigan, you tried very well. And Teacher Liana is really kind. She supported you so much."

Jeigan nodded.

"Thanks Jinha… I thought she would be angry at me. But she is actually a really good teacher."

Jinha smiled proudly.

"Yes. Our Teacher Liana is a very good teacher. She guides us through every problem."

"Though sometimes… she can be strict."

At that moment—

RINGGGGG

The bell rang.

It was 2 PM.

Break time.

Teacher Liana closed her book.

"Alright class. Break time."

"Go to the canteen and have your lunch. I'll see you later."

The students slightly bowed.

"Thank you, teacher."

Teacher Liana left the classroom and met Wise Principal Amelia outside. They began discussing something while walking through the hallway toward the teachers' room.

Inside the class—

Julian suddenly glared at Jeigan angrily.

"This guy…"

Jeigan noticed his expression.

Why is he looking at me like that…?

Before he could think further—

Suire walked toward his desk with her group of girls.

Without warning, Suire grabbed his jawline.

Jeigan looked at her innocently.

"What do you want?"

Suire smirked.

"Oh? What do we want?"

She turned toward her friends.

"Girls, you tell him."

Two twin sisters stepped forward.

Tina and Mina.

Tina laughed.

"We want to feed him dog food."

Mina nodded.

"Yeah! Dogs like dog food, right?"

All the girls burst into laughter.

"Oh my little dog! Chu! Chu!"

"Hahahahaha!"

Jeigan lowered his head.

"Please… stop bothering me. Leave me alone."

Suire laughed again.

"Leave you?"

"No."

"You are our toy now."

At that moment—

A cold voice came from behind them.

"Oi."

Everyone turned.

Jinha was standing there.

She was holding two cups of juice.

Her eyes looked like burning lava.

"Stop bothering Jeigan."

"If you don't…"

"I'll leave you in such a condition that you'll be scared to look at each other's faces at night."

Then she glared at the twin sisters.

"And you two."

"Tina. Mina."

"You really enjoy feeding dog food to others?"

"Should I feed you dog food instead?"

"Then both of you can patrol like dogs the entire night."

Jeigan watched nervously.

Suire laughed loudly.

"Oh look! The full-moon witch has arrived to save her foolish pet."

"Hahahahaha!"

Jinha's eyes became even colder.

"If I ever make a deal with a witch and become one…"

"The first thing I'll do is cut your head off."

Suire smirked.

"Yeah… only in your dreams."

Jinha stepped forward slightly.

"Do you want to see?"

Suire waved her hand dismissively.

"No thanks."

"Girls, let's go."

"Let the witch enjoy time with her pet."

Suire and her group left the classroom laughing and joking.

Silence returned.

Jeigan lowered his head.

"Every time… you have to come and save me."

"And because of me, you have to listen to their insults."

"I'm sorry."

Jinha handed him a juice cup.

"Here. I went to get juice for us."

Then she sighed.

"And stop apologizing again and again."

"Didn't you hear what Teacher Liana said?"

"Just because you are weak doesn't mean no one can protect you."

She smiled gently.

"I'll help you become strong."

"Slowly."

Jeigan looked at her with gratitude.

"Really?"

"Thank you so much…"

"I don't know how I will repay you."

Jinha took a sip from her juice.

"If you want to repay me…"

"Just become strong."

"That's enough for me."

Jeigan nodded firmly.

"I will."

"I will become strong. Very strong."

Jinha raised her cup.

"That's the spirit."

"Come on."

"Cheers."

"Cheers."

Jeigan finished his juice.

"Thanks Jinha… for the juice."

"You're welcome."

Meanwhile…

Inside Principal Jiroto's office.

Principal Jiroto sat behind his desk while Teacher Liana and Wise Principal Amelia stood in front of him.

"Teacher Liana."

"Yes sir?"

Amelia asked curiously.

"Why did you call us here?"

Principal Jiroto leaned forward.

"I want to discuss something serious."

"The new student."

"Jeigan."

Amelia's eyes brightened.

"Oh yes! I heard about him."

"He's in your class, right Liana? I'm really excited to meet him."

Liana sighed.

"Amelia, calm down. We are in the principal's office."

"Yes sir," Liana continued. "Jeigan is in my class."

Jiroto spoke slowly.

"I don't know why… but when he entered my office for the first time, I felt something strange."

"Something abnormal."

"Did you feel something like that too?"

Liana nodded.

"Yes."

"It was an aura energy."

"I felt it when he entered the class."

"But strangely, none of the students felt anything."

"Except Jinha."

"She seemed to instantly sense that someone had entered."

Amelia crossed her arms.

"I understand."

"His aura energy might be stronger than ours."

Jiroto shook his head.

"That's impossible."

"Our aura system has five levels."

"Low. Medium. High. Extreme. Infinity."

"Low aura can be sensed by almost any dealer. Animals like puppies and cats carry low aura."

"Most students release medium aura."

"Only Jinha releases high-level aura like us."

"But if someone truly had an aura stronger than ours…"

"Even a simple deal magic from him could cause massive destruction."

Liana nodded.

"That's correct."

"But in today's practical class…"

"He used Deal of Nature Leaf Burst."

"And it was extremely weak."

Amelia frowned.

"Then maybe… he is hiding his real power."

Jiroto shook his head again.

"No."

"If his aura is truly that powerful…"

"He wouldn't be able to hide it completely."

The room became silent.

Then Amelia suddenly smiled.

"I have an interesting idea…"
