The wasteland exploded into chaos.
Fifty demons from the Blood Fang Gang rushed forward, their claws and weapons raised.
Dust filled the air as their heavy footsteps shook the cracked ground.
Behind Rai, the group of outcast demons trembled in fear.
They had never faced an army like this before.
Some of them even thought about running.
But Rai didn't move.
He stood alone in front of them.

An invisible pressure crashed over the battlefield.
Several weaker demons suddenly stopped running.

One demon dropped his weapon.

The Blood Fang leader frowned.
"This pressure…"
But before he could finish—
Rai moved.
He vanished from where he stood.
The nearest demon didn't even see him coming.
CRACK.
Rai's fist smashed into the demon's jaw.
The demon's head twisted violently as it flew through the air.
Dead instantly.
The battlefield froze for a split second.
Then Rai appeared behind another demon.
THUD.
His elbow crushed its spine.
Another body hit the ground.
The Blood Fang Gang roared in anger.
"Kill him!"
Five demons attacked at once.
Claws slashed toward Rai from every direction.
But Rai's body moved smoothly.
His Combat Adaptation skill guided every motion.
He ducked one attack.
Twisted past another.
Then grabbed a demon's arm and threw him directly into two others.
CRASH.
All three collapsed together.
Rai grabbed a fallen spear from the ground.
Then spun.
The spear flashed through the air.
Three demons fell instantly.
Blood sprayed across the wasteland.
The outcast demons behind Rai stared in shock.
"He's… killing them all…"
"This human is insane!"
Meanwhile, the Blood Fang leader's expression slowly changed.
From confidence…
To disbelief.
To anger.
"Enough!"
He roared and charged forward himself.
His massive claws slammed into Rai's chest.
BOOM!
Rai's body flew across the battlefield and smashed into the ground.
Dust exploded around him.
The gang laughed.
"Hahaha!"
"He's dead!"
But then…
Rai slowly stood up.
His chest healed quickly thanks to Minor Regeneration.
The Blood Fang leader's eyes widened.
"You… survived that?"
Rai brushed dust from his clothes.
Then looked up calmly.
"You're stronger than the others."
The demon grinned viciously.
"Of course I am."
He raised both claws.
"I'm the leader of Blood Fang!"
He charged again.
This time Rai stepped forward too.
Their attacks collided.
BOOM!
Shockwaves blasted across the battlefield.
The outcast demons were forced to step back.
The Blood Fang leader swung wildly.
But Rai had already fought stronger enemies.
He dodged the first claw.
Blocked the second.
Then stepped inside the demon's guard.
His fist shot forward.
CRACK.
The punch shattered the demon's ribs.
The leader coughed blood.
Rai didn't stop.
He grabbed the demon's horn.
Then slammed its head into the ground.
BOOM.
The ground cracked.
The demon tried to stand.
But Rai drove the spear straight through his chest.
CRUNCH.
The Blood Fang leader's body froze.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
Then he collapsed.
Dead.
Silence fell across the battlefield.
The remaining Blood Fang demons looked around.
Their leader was dead.
Half their army was gone.
Fear spread through them.
"Run!"
The surviving demons turned and fled into the wasteland.
Rai didn't chase them.
Instead he stood there quietly.
Surrounded by bodies.
The system appeared again.
