As time passed, Arin began to grow up. He had been adopted by a wealthy family who had no children of their own. They loved him dearly and raised him with great care. Arin was taught discipline, kindness, and proper manners. He grew into a well-educated and gentle young boy, living a comfortable life surrounded by luxury and affection.
Meanwhile, Aaika was growing up in a completely different world.
Rambh loved his daughter deeply, but unlike Arin's peaceful upbringing, Aaika's childhood was filled with training and strength. Rambh believed that the world was dangerous, and he wanted his daughter to be powerful enough to face any challenge.
From a young age, he trained her to become strong—both in body and mind. He taught her how to fight, how to control power, and how to survive in harsh conditions. Though he cared for her like a precious treasure, he also prepared her for a future where she would have to carry great responsibility As the years passed, Aaika became incredibly powerful. By the time she was ten years old, her strength had already surpassed that of many demons.
One day, she saw her father Rambh furiously attacking a small demon. The creature was weak and helpless, and Rambh was about to kill it in anger. Aaika quickly stepped forward and stopped him.
Rambh was surprised. For a moment, he froze.
But because Aaika had asked him to stop, he let the demon go.
At that moment, Rambh realized something that troubled him deeply—Aaika was becoming like her mother, Amyera.
And Rambh did not want history to repeat itself.
Amyera's compassion had once cost him everything. He could not allow Aaika to follow the same path.
So Rambh decided to lie to her.
He told Aaika that he trusted no one because Amyera had been killed by the parents of a divine angel. To strengthen her hatred, he created an entire false story.
According to Rambh, the angels had betrayed Amyera. They had taken her form and tricked Rambh into giving away his heart, which led to her death.
Hearing this, Aaika's heart filled with anger toward the angels.
Rambh then told her another lie.
He said that after Amyera's death, he had hidden his heart in a safe place. Inside that heart was the Pearl of Immortality. Every fifteen years, during the Blood Red Moon, a ritual could be performed to reclaim it.
But for the ritual to work, the descendant of the angel who killed Amyera must be sacrificed.
Aaika was deeply emotional after hearing the story of her mother. With tears in her eyes, she made a promise to her father.
She swore that she would bring that angel before him and kill him herself.
Rambh felt satisfied. Slowly and carefully, he continued to fill Aaika with hatred toward the angels.
Years passed.
When Aaika turned eighteen, Rambh sent her into deep meditation and harsh training, so she could become even stronger.
While all of this was happening, Arin knew nothing about it.
Far away, he was living a happy life, enjoying his peaceful world without any knowledge of demons, prophecies, or destiny.
Time continued to move forward.
When Arin turned twenty-four, Rambh began putting his plan into action. He sent many demons to capture Arin and bring him to the demon realm.
But none of them could even touch him.
After several failed attempts, Rambh realized that capturing Arin by force was impossible.
So he gave a command.
He ordered that Aaika be called back from her meditation.
By now, Aaika had become extraordinarily beautiful and unbelievably powerful.
When a demon arrived to summon her, she calmly said,
"I will come."
But before returning to her father, Aaika went to a place she had always felt drawn to—the place her mother once loved.
It was also the place where she had been created.
When she arrived, she saw that the land had become barren and ruined. Everything around it felt lifeless.
Slowly, she walked toward the cave where she had been born.
Inside, she noticed something strange.
There was a small sealed power source, glowing faintly like a floating sphere.
Curious, Aaika released the energy trapped inside it.
The moment the power was freed, a soft and sweet voice echoed from within.
"Thank you… you are very kind. I have been trapped here for five years. Rambh captured me and sealed me inside this place."
The moment Aaika heard her father's name spoken like that, her anger exploded.
Without hesitation, she attacked the mysterious energy.
But it dodged the attack and quickly said,
"If you speak even one more word against my father, I will destroy you!"
Hearing this, the glowing spirit quickly fell silent.
After a moment it spoke again, gently,
"I am sorry… I did not mean any harm. You saved me, so I owe you my freedom. From now on, I will stay with you and obey you."
There was so much sincerity in the voice that Aaika could not refuse.
She thought for a moment and said,
"From today, I will call you Wish… so you can always remind me of my purpose."
The spirit seemed happy with the name.
Just then Aaika remembered that Rambh had summoned her.
She told Wish,
"Stay hidden and come with me."
Wish replied softly,
"I can become invisible."
Aaika nodded and left the cave.
When she returned to the demon realm, Rambh was overjoyed to see her. He embraced her proudly and said,
"You are the only one who can complete the task I have been waiting for."
To be continued…
