{ Fire and Secrets }
The flames crackled outside, smoke curling through the gala hall. Guests screamed and scrambled for the exits.
Tyla's heart pounded like a drum in her chest, every nerve on edge.
Ian's grip on her hand tightened, his dark eyes scanning the crowd with precision. "Stay close to me,"
he instructed, his voice low but urgent. "Don't look around. Just follow me."
Tyla nodded, barely able to speak. She couldn't believe she was here again, so close to him, and yet so dangerously exposed.
They ducked behind a marble column as a group of guests ran past, coughing from the smoke. Ian's phone buzzed quickly. He glanced at it, his jaw tightening. "They know I'm here," he muttered. "and they do that because you are here too
Wait "Who? Who's after you ? and why they follow me again when I'm around you ?" Tyla asked, her voice trembling.
Ian didn't answer immediately. Instead, he scanned the exits, calculating.
"Someone who wants to hurt me… or anyone close to me," he said finally, his tone grim. "And that includes you."
Tyla froze. Her pulse raced, a mix of fear and something else she couldn't name. She'd always felt the tension around him, and danger—but hearing it now, knowing she was in real danger now because of him, made her stomach twist.
Suddenly, a shadow moved near the entrance. A figure in black was trying to push past the chaos. Ian's eyes narrowed. Without hesitatios he noticed him..
suddenly Tyla's breath caught.she start coughing so hard he noticed her ..
meanwhile the man disappear
Who are you looking at who is that ?! she started asking,
but ian pressed a finger to his lips "No questions now,"
he said, his eyes locked on the intruder beginning. The flames roared louder now, devouring the walls near the main entrance. Smoke choked the hall, and screams echoed from every corner.
Tyla's heart thumped wildly. She looked around frantically—her mother was nowhere in sight. "Mom? Mom!" she cried, panic rising in her voice. "Where is she?"
she looked around looking for her mom and then she froze.
Her mother was trapped near a collapsed table, flames licking the edges of the doorway behind her, and a heavy beam trembling above her head
mom !! She screamed.
Ian's eyes snapped toward the inferno. Without a word, he dashed toward the burning hall. Tyla's breath caught.
"ian! It's too dangerous!" she shouted,
but he didn't hesitate. Through the haze of smoke and sparks, ian emerged holding her mother's arm, guiding her with steady strength. The fire licked dangerously close to them, but he moved with precision, shielding her mother with his own body.
Tyla froze for a heartbeat, awe striking her. The man she had feared, who had haunted her thoughts…
was now a hero, putting himself in harm's way for them. Her chest swelled with a strange, fleeting admiration.
"Stay close to me!" ian barked, his voice cutting through the chaos.
She looked it him with surprised strong eyes and nervous
"Just trust me Move."he said
He led her through a side door she hadn't noticed, down a narrow service corridor. The heat from the fire was still behind them, the shouts of chaos echoing through the building. Sparks rained down around them,
and Tyla instinctively took a step back, she so feel scary but also inside her she's a Strong girl but at this moment she feels scary because of All that .
but he grabbed her hand again. "Don't let go," he commanded, his dark eyes locking on hers. They sprinted through the burning corridor. Suddenly, a beam cracked and fell right where Tyla's mother had been standing. In a flash, Ian lunged forward, pulling both her and her mother just in time. The heavy beam crashed to the floor, scattering embers and dust. Tyla's breath caught in her throat. Her heart raced—
not just from fear, but from the way he saving them of seeing him risk everything for them. a faint glimmer of admiration in her gaze, fleeting yet unmistakable. Once they reached the safety of the street, smoke and fire behind them,
Ian finally released them,
his chest heaving. the night air hit them like a wave. Tyla coughed, her eyes watering, but she couldn't tear her gaze from him
oh Are you ok tyla her mom asked her she whispered, yeah mom but why all that happened still catching her breath.
İ know who do this ," he replied
firmly, his eyes scanning the street. "But we're not out of danger yet. Move!"
Tyla looked at him for a second longer.
That fleeting glance, that moment of quiet awe—she realized he wasn't just the mysterious, dangerous man she had feared…
he was someone who would go to the edge of fire itself to protect her and the people she loved.
but why he doing this ? and who do the fire and why ? and who is really Ian is ? .
