Hazel was helping Valeria arrange some books in the living room when her phone suddenly rang.

"Hello?"

"Just come… please."
The call ended.

Valeria watched her carefully.
"What did she say?"

"She sounded upset. I think something happened."
Valeria's expression became thoughtful.
"Be careful," she said quietly.

An hour later, Hazel arrived at the mansion.
The house was strangely quiet.
She stepped inside slowly.
"Abi?" she called.

Her heart began beating faster.
She walked toward the staircase.
Just as she reached the hallway, she heard something.
Soft laughter.
Coming from Luca's room.
Hazel froze.
Her chest tightened painfully.
Slowly… she pushed the door open.
And what she saw made her world collapse.
Abi was sitting on Luca's bed.
Wearing one of his shirts.
Her hair messy… her expression calm.
Abi looked up and pretended to be shocked.
"H-Hazel?"
Hazel felt like the air had been knocked out of her lungs.
"What… is this?"
Abi stood up slowly.
"It's not what you think."
But the damage was already done.
Hazel's eyes filled with tears.
"Then explain."
Abi hesitated, lowering her head.
"It just… happened."
Hazel's hands began trembling.
"Where is Luca?"
Abi looked away.
"He stepped out."
Hazel laughed bitterly.
Of course.
Everything suddenly made sense.
Abi walked closer.
"I didn't plan this," she said softly.
But Hazel stepped back.
"Don't touch me."
Her voice broke.
"You're my sister."
Abi didn't respond.
Hazel felt tears running down her face now.
For a moment she couldn't even speak.
Then she turned and walked out.

Later that night, Luca rushed to Valeria's house.
Hazel had already told him what she saw.
He knocked urgently.
Valeria opened the door.
"She's not in the mood to talk," she said.
"I need to explain," Luca insisted.
Valeria studied his face for a moment before stepping aside.
Inside, Hazel sat quietly on the couch.
Her eyes were red.
Luca walked toward her.
"Hazel, I swear nothing happened."
Hazel looked at him slowly.
"It doesn't matter."
"Yes it does," he said firmly.
Hazel shook her head.
"No… it doesn't."
Her voice sounded tired now.
"Maybe Abi was right."
Luca frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Hazel forced a weak smile.
"Maybe I'm just not good enough."
Luca immediately stepped closer.
"That's not true."
Hazel continued softly.
"She's beautiful. Confident. Everyone notices her."
Her eyes filled with tears again.
"And me…"
She looked down at her hands.
"I'm just the quiet sister people overlook."
Luca's expression tightened.
"Hazel—"
"Maybe that's why you needed her," she whispered.
The words hit him hard.
"I didn't cheat on you," he said firmly.
Hazel closed her eyes briefly.
"I'm tired, Luca."
Her voice trembled.
"I just need a break."
The room fell silent.
Valeria watched from across the room, her arms folded.
She could see the pain in Hazel's eyes.
And the confusion in Luca's.
But something about the whole situation didn't sit right with her.
Abi's behavior felt… too calculated.
And Valeria had a strong feeling that tonight's incident was not an accident.
It was a trap.
