Kiara sat by the window, staring into the dim street below.
Sleep had abandoned her hours ago.
Every possible plan she thought of seemed to collapse before it even formed.
Should I go to the cybercrime department?
The idea came to her again.
But just as quickly, she rejected it.
If Vishwa already knew what her mother and sister were doing… if he knew their locations…
Then contacting the police could put them in even greater danger.
Her fingers pressed against her forehead.
"How much does he know…" she whispered.
Her mother lived at the small ashram outside the city.
Her younger sister studied at a college across town.
Three different locations.
Three different lives.
Yet somehow… Vishwa had reached all of them.
Which meant only one thing.
He had already studied her life carefully.
Maybe even long before he contacted her.
The thought sent a chill through her spine.
Kiara stood up and began pacing across the room.
Think.
Think like him.
If she were in his position… what would the next move be?
What would he expect her to do?
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden vibration of her phone.
Kiara froze.
The screen lit up.
Unknown Number.
Her heart began pounding.
For a moment she simply stared at it.
Then slowly… she picked it up.
Her hands trembled slightly.
Even though she was alone in the apartment, she switched the call to loudspeaker.
"Hello?" she said cautiously.
For a few seconds, there was only silence.
Then a calm male voice spoke.
"Three days from now."
Kiara's breath caught.
"Meet me at the place where your father died."
Her eyes widened.
"What?" she said, confused. "Kashmir?"
Her mother had always told her that her father died during the war in Kashmir.
But the voice interrupted her immediately.
"No."
There was a faint pause.
Then the man spoke again.
"14th Cross. Virajman Nagar. Bangalore."
The call ended.
Just like that.
Kiara stared at the phone in shock.
The room suddenly felt smaller.
Her mind raced through the words again.
14th Cross.
Virajman Nagar.
Her chest tightened.
Because she knew that address.
Very well.
Kiara slowly turned her head and looked toward the window.
Outside…
The street sign stood quietly at the corner.
14th Cross.
Virajman Nagar.
The place Vishwa had just mentioned…
Was the place she was living in.
