Chapter 7 - How And Why I Turned Into A Bad Girl_A Lier

I gave Cassius my virginity. If I told anyone, they would judge me they'd say I made the biggest mistake of my life, giving my body to a guy I had only known for barely two months… maybe even less.

But you know what my reply would be? I gave myself to him because I love him.

He will be my first and my last. Cassius loves me, and I know it.

While he was with me, I wasn't thinking of anyone else. All I felt was him. I love him. I really do.

He made love to me tenderly, almost to the point where I couldn't walk afterward, but he restrained himself, knowing it was my first time. He was gentle, loving, and patient… After all, we would be sharing this closeness again.

I just got back home. It's past 9 p.m and I feel exhausted and sore… even though he was careful, I still ache.

I know Sister Erica and the others are probably asleep. I tiptoed to my door and quietly opened it, peeking to make sure no one saw me. When I saw I was alone, I smiled and opened the door fully.

But just as I was about to step inside, a sharp voice froze me.

"Are you just coming back now, Mary?"

Sister Erica's tone was grumpy, clearly woken from sleep.

I gulped and turned around, forcing a tired expression. "Yes, Sister… our math teacher delayed us. He's so strict and doesn't tolerate disobedience… that's why I stayed until class was over. I'm sorry for being this late."

I couldn't believe I was lying, explaining without even being asked.

"Oh, my dear. You must be so tired," she said, softening her voice. I nodded.

"Okay, just go to bed. You'll still wake up early for school tomorrow. Gosh, school is really tiring these days… go on, sleep." She gestured me inside.

I nodded and entered my room, locking the door behind me. Leaning against it, I drifted into my own thoughts.

I knew I hadn't been fair, lying to her and making her worry unnecessarily. And once again, I asked myself 'Will I regret this in the future?'

NEXT DAY-

Logan strutted down the hallway, his usual mischievous grin ready to charm any girl he passed. Every smile made heads turn and cheeks flush.

"Thank God for this good looks," he muttered to himself.

"Logan!" someone called from behind. He groaned, frustrated, and stopped.

"What does this girl want from me? Why won't she just leave me alone? If she pushes too far, I might hurt her…" he muttered.

The girl walked up and stood before him.

"Why did you block me on WhatsApp?" she asked.

"Should I answer that?" he asked coldly, a side of him she hadn't seen before.

"We're dating," she said, her voice trembling.

Logan laughed. "Did I ask you out?"

She froze, unable to answer. She had misread his kindness when he saved her that day, thinking he had feelings for her.

But she hadn't realized she was dealing with a playboy.

"So… you never had feelings for me?" she whispered, tears welling up.

"Feelings?" Logan chuckled, sliding his hands into his pockets. He leaned down to her level, a predator's smile on his face.

"We were just… friends with benefits. You aren't even my type. I just wanted to… enjoy you," he whispered, letting his words cut deep.

"So it was just… sex? Nothing else?" she asked, barely able to breathe.

"Yes. And I know you enjoyed it too. So stay out of my way otherwise, you might regret it." He brushed her cheek with his thumb, smirking, and walked off.

She understood then. She thought she had found love, but she had walked straight into a lion's den.
