"Is Godfather in?" Luna asked Snake, who was stationed outside Vito's door.
"Yes, boss," Snake nodded.
"Stop calling me boss. I'm Luna," she rolled her eyes.
"You're more like Godfather's daughter now," Snake opened the door for her.
"Thank you," she smiled as she stepped inside.
"Is it done?" Vito's voice greeted her immediately. He stood before the window, smoke curling from his cigarette.
"Yes," Luna nodded and sat on the couch.
"But Larisa and Cora handled the operation, not you," he remarked. Luna looked him square in the face.
"You sent someone to spy on us?" she asked.
"I always do," Vito replied.
"And I always knew," She grinned. Vito smirked.
"Something you aren't telling me?" he asked.
"I saw Cassius," she said. Vito tilted his head, curious.
"Your revenge started there?"
"I gave them grace… for today," she answered.
"Them?"
"He was with Nova," she said. Vito nodded slowly.
"No more missions for you for now. Focus on your revenge, Luna," he instructed, but she frowned.
"My revenge won't stop me from taking missions. If there's anyone, forward them to me, Godfather," she said, bowing slightly before standing.
"Aren't you going to eat something before leaving?" he asked.
"If I waste one more second here, those bitches with me will scatter my apartment with their endless fights and fury, Godfather," she said, bowing again and turning to leave.
Vito smiled faintly, proud of the strong woman she had become.
"Cora and Larisa?" he asked.
"They're my headaches," she replied and left.
"Larisa, did you delete his number or not?" Cora asked, legs crossed, sipping her wine.
"I had eyes on him first," Larisa replied smoothly.
"I did first! You can flirt and fuck any guy in school, but the ones outside? Are Mine. Stop fucking guys I had my eyes on and focus on your own!" Cora snapped angrily.
"Just shut it, Cora!" Larisa stood abruptly.
"Shut the fuck—" Before she could finish, Cora shoved her. She fell back onto the couch, the glass in her hand shattering across the floor.
Cora leapt on her, and a fight broke out.
Luna walked in just in time. "If I'd wasted
more seconds, they would've destroyed the house. Thank goodness it's just a glass cup." She rushed to separate them but they pushed her aside, and she fell.
"Oh my goodness…" She muttered. She scanned the scene and decided there was only one thing that could stop them, water.
She grabbed a glass and poured it over them.
"Fuck it, Luna!" they gasped.
Larisa stormed into a bar, needing a drink to cool her temper after the fight with Cora.
"She's always getting on my nerves. Can't I fuck anyone I want?" she muttered, teeth gritted, sipping her liquor.
Unbeknownst to her, someone was already watching. Lustful eyes followed her every move.
"Dude, look at that bitch. She's loaded," Logan said, eyes glued to her.
"I see her," Dacio replied, looking away.
"I'm going for her, man. Tonight, I'm getting laid… I can feel it," Logan said, licking his lips.
"Better get your little brother back to sleep; you're not getting laid tonight," Dacio warned.
Logan ignored him and walked toward Larisa's table.
"Hello, bitch," he said, sliding in next to her with a predatory smile.
Larisa raised an eyebrow. "Are you talking to me?"
"Yes. My first time seeing you here," he said."Let's get to business. How much for a night?" he asked, and Larisa's eyes widened.
"I beg your pardon?"
"How much fo… you know…" His words were cut short as Larisa punched him squarely in the face.
"Ouch!" Dacio feigned pain as if he's the one been hit.
"Fuck you!" Larisa yelled, standing up.
Logan staggered to see who had attacked him. Seeing no one, he asked."Did you punch me?"
Before he could react, Larisa landed another punch, followed by a brutal kick to his groin. He crumpled to the floor.
Dacio paid for his drinks and left, shaking his head.
"Next time… don't ever talk to a stranger like that," Larisa warned, delivering one last kick to Logan's stomach before leaving.
"Ouch!" Logan muttered, looking around, realizing Dacio was gone. "Such betrayal…" He groaned and blacked out.
