Chapter 6 - time to finish him..

A breathtaking shock. Amidst the rubble and dust, it seemed everyone had perished. And from beneath the debris came the surprise... Lloyd emerged, carrying the child in his arms. His clothes were torn, his body covered in wounds, and his features unrecognizable from the intensity of his anger. Lloyd approached the child's family and placed him in the arms of his mother, who was sobbing, longing for her son. "Thank God you're alright, my son. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Lloyd." The child's mother wept tears of joy at Lloyd's rescue of her only son.

"You're a scoundrel," Vasco said mockingly to Lloyd.

"After all this, you're still alive? Wow, you've got a long life ahead of you!" Lloyd clenched his fists, his blood throbbing. "You're getting on my nerves, you bastard!"

Vasco laughed for a long time, his face covered in blood. "That's what every weakling says, unable to accept their fate... and you're one of those weaklings. Your fate is certain death." The black figure gradually took over Lloyd's body. He glanced behind him at Shira, his blue eyes seemingly saying, "Run! Run! This place has become dangerous for you and everyone with you." For the first time, Shira felt Lloyd's warning without him uttering a word. Shira moved, taking as many villagers as she could with her to protect them from the impending danger. They moved to a safer place away from the village while Lloyd dealt with Vasco.

Vasco growled savagely, "Come on, come at me... Heha! You think I'm afraid of you? You're wrong..."

Lloyd prepared his fighting stance, his entire focus on Vasco's movements. Vasco began manipulating his movements, suddenly lunging at Lloyd. Lloyd jumped to avoid him, but Vasco caught him by the legs as he jumped. "Heh, I've got you, you poor little bird..." Then he pulled Lloyd to the ground and shot a ball of energy from his mouth towards the fallen Lloyd.

The ball flew directly towards Lloyd's face without warning. As it approached, it exploded in front of him, releasing a purple vapor that blinded Lloyd.

Lloyd could see nothing. Then Vasco began landing blows on Lloyd without Lloyd seeing him. Each unexpected strike was slowly killing Lloyd. "Damn it, I can't see this bastard!" Then a blow to the jaw brought Lloyd crashing to the ground. Vasco said with a Mockingly, heha, I'm just having fun with you, young man. I just want you to know that your time is up. Heha, you're blind now, and your chances of survival are extremely slim.

While Vasco mocked Lloyd, Lloyd was lost in eternal darkness when he heard a deep voice. "You are the Requiem we've been waiting for." Lloyd wondered, "Who are you talking about? Me?" Then the voice gradually faded away. "Hey, I'm talking to you. Hello. Where am I?"

Lloyd stood up, still unable to see Vasco. "Wow," Vasco said mockingly for the thousandth time, "it seems I really will take some time to kill you.

You wretched bastard, I will destroy you with all the power I possess."

Then Vasco laughed, saying, "Well, guess where the blow will come from." Then blow after blow struck Lloyd in several parts of his body. Lloyd fell to his knees, panting. Vasco said, "This is the end of every pretender to heroism. I pity you for your condition. And now it's time to finish you off." Lloyd gritted his teeth and said, "Damn you, you coward! You use your low tricks and think you've defeated me? No, no, not yet!" Then he slammed his fist on the ground. Vasco looked at him with a scowl. "You're a big chatterbox, and I should kill you." Vasco confidently advanced towards Lloyd, drew his silver sword, and raised it. "Die, you fool!" Lloyd jumped backward, not seeing, and the sword struck the ground. Vasco raised his head. "You may have a strong intuition, but that won't stop me from killing you." And now he began attacking with several blows, some of which Lloyd dodged, some of which he blocked. A spark of anger rose in Vasco, as if Lloyd was provoking him. Then he aimed his sword with one hand at Lloyd.

Vasco lunged at him, and in a flash, Lloyd leaped to the left, snatched the sword from Vasco, and stepped back, plunging it into Vasco's back. Vasco opened his eyes in confusion: "What just happened?" Lloyd turned, ending the scene with a final word: "You're finished." The sword ignited in Vasco's back with blazing flames, and his body exploded, creating a blast that shook the village.

Shira turned toward the sound of the explosion and said anxiously, "Lloyd..."
