Chapter 35 - The War of Millions

Volume 2 — Chapter 10: The War of Millions

The world of the Creator's Dimension had never been quieter.

Yet beneath that silence, something enormous was moving.

Across mountains, forests, deserts, and oceans of endless plains, armies were forming.

Cities that once focused only on survival had now transformed into military camps. Blacksmiths worked without rest. Fighters trained day and night. Leaders gathered their strongest warriors and made alliances that would determine the fate of millions.

This was no longer a simple struggle for survival.

It had become a war.

A war of factions.

And this war would involve millions.

---

In the western plains, one of the largest human alliances had gathered.

Rows upon rows of soldiers stood across the open fields, stretching far beyond the horizon. Banners of dozens of factions fluttered in the wind as commanders shouted orders.

More soldiers continued arriving every hour.

One general stood on a raised platform overlooking the army.

His name was Marcus Vale, leader of the Iron Dominion faction.

A messenger approached him quickly.

"Commander."

Marcus did not turn.

"Report."

"The Hells have accepted our alliance request."

Marcus finally turned his head slightly.

"And the Heavens?"

"They have also offered blessings to several allied factions."

Marcus nodded slowly.

"So the rumors were true."

This war was not simply human anymore.

Higher powers had begun interfering.

And that meant the scale of this conflict would grow far beyond imagination.

The messenger hesitated before speaking again.

"Commander… scouts confirmed something else."

"What?"

"The Void ruler."

Marcus' eyes narrowed.

"What about him?"

"The army that attacked him…"

The messenger swallowed nervously.

"…was wiped out."

Marcus remained silent.

He had heard the rumors.

But hearing confirmation made the situation far more serious.

"How many survived?"

"Less than four hundred."

Marcus looked back toward the massive army before him.

Nearly two hundred thousand soldiers had gathered under his command alone.

But even that suddenly felt insignificant.

"So it's true."

The Void ruler was real.

And if the rumors were correct…

Then he might be the greatest threat in the entire dimension.

---

Thousands of kilometers away, another army was forming beneath a blood-red sky.

This one was far more chaotic.

Soldiers with dark armor and brutal weapons gathered in massive numbers.

Some of them had glowing red eyes.

Others had dark markings spreading across their skin.

They were humans who had accepted power from the Hells.

A tall warrior stood at the center of the camp.

His name was Darius Kane, leader of the Crimson Pact.

A portal of dark flames opened behind him.

From within the flames, a towering figure stepped forward.

A devil.

Its presence alone made the surrounding soldiers tremble.

The devil looked down at Darius.

"You humans are interesting creatures."

Darius bowed slightly.

"We appreciate the Hells' support."

The devil laughed.

"Support?"

"Do not misunderstand."

Its eyes glowed like burning coals.

"We are simply investing in entertainment."

Darius remained calm.

"And the Void?"

The devil smiled.

"That creature…"

"…will make this war very enjoyable."

---

Far above the clouds, inside a floating palace of white marble, several gods watched the world below.

A massive projection showed the movements of countless armies.

Millions of players were preparing for war.

One god spoke calmly.

"The numbers continue increasing."

Another replied.

"Current estimate?"

"Nearly eight million participants."

A quiet murmur spread through the chamber.

Another god leaned forward.

"The Void faction?"

A golden screen appeared.

It showed a single name.

Icarus Grimm

Beneath it were two lines.

Faction: Void

Members: Unknown

One god frowned.

"That information is incomplete."

Another god spoke.

"The Void does not function like the other factions."

"Explain."

"The Void warriors are not recruited."

"They are imprisoned."

Silence filled the chamber.

One god leaned back slowly.

"So if the Void ruler decides to release them…"

He stopped speaking.

Because everyone already understood the implication.

Millions of soldiers might not be enough.

---

Meanwhile, high above the mountains where the Void Castle stood, the sky remained peaceful.

Cold winds moved through the towering stone walls of the massive fortress.

Inside the castle courtyard, Seraphine stood watching the distant horizon.

From this height, the world looked calm.

But she knew that calm would not last long.

Footsteps echoed behind her.

Icarus walked onto the balcony.

His expression remained as indifferent as always.

Seraphine smiled slightly.

"The world is mobilizing."

He already knew.

Nexus spoke.

[Global faction analysis updated.]

A large projection appeared in the air.

Numbers began appearing rapidly.

[Heavens-aligned forces: 3.2 million participants.]

[Hells-aligned forces: 3.7 million participants.]

[Independent factions: 1.9 million participants.]

Seraphine whistled softly.

"That's a lot of enemies."

Nexus continued.

[Total potential war participants: approximately 8.8 million.]

Seraphine looked at Icarus.

"So…"

"…almost nine million people are preparing to fight."

She tilted her head slightly.

"And most of them probably want you dead."

Icarus showed no reaction.

Instead he looked out toward the distant lands beyond the mountains.

Armies were moving.

Factions were forming.

The entire world was preparing for war.

Nexus spoke again.

[Void faction status.]

A new display appeared.

[Ruler: Icarus Grimm.]

[Member: Seraphine.]

Then another line appeared beneath it.

[Void Warriors: Countless.]

Deep beneath the castle, inside the endless darkness of the Void realm, ancient warriors waited.

Beings so powerful that entire worlds had rejected them.

Monsters who had been abandoned by reality itself.

And they all shared one thing.

They belonged to the Void.

Seraphine crossed her arms and smiled.

"Millions against the Void…"

She looked back toward Icarus.

"Do you think they stand a chance?"

For a moment, the wind was the only sound on the mountain.

Then Icarus finally spoke.

His voice was calm.

"Let them try."

Far away across the world, millions of warriors prepared for battle.

But none of them truly understood what they were about to face.

Because the war had not even begun yet.

And when it finally did…

The Void would answer.
