My name is Shinobu Dokusha. I was going to take the bullet train to work, but I haven't even gotten a job in Japan yet. I was reading Omniscients' Reader Viewpoint when, at 7:00 pm. "You should of read until the end" is what my favorite character expressed.
A red Goblin appeared on the bullet train. A red-skinned Goblin with one horn, with black eyes that made it look like a demon. The Goblin's body had one foot and traditional Japanese clothes. The Goblin was talking about how the free trial period was over and whatnot. This looked really familiar to me; it was like I was in the world of the webnovel that I was just reading.
I closed my eyes and covered my ears as soon as I heard the red Goblin just snapping his fingers and killing citizens who just annoyed him. I opened my eyes to find a bright purple virtual screen telling me something new.
[Should You Deserve to Live?
Mission: Murder one or more living organisms
Deadline: 30 minutes
Punishment: Death]
I could hear civilians around me asking whether it was similar to Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, or another popular anime. I had wondered if they even read the Revelation at all. Thankfully, I read the book and had some time to prepare for my next moves. This was the Japanese domain not the Korean domain.
[15 minutes remaining]
There were 15 minutes remaining until everyone would die. I was searching for a bug to kill in the bullet train, if there wasn't one. Then I would probably just be forced to become a murderer by murdering whoever irritated me the most.
The elderly couple was praying together and saying their goodbyes. The office workers are looking at the screen, depressed and wondering if they want to keep on living. Others would discuss what to do and if this was real or not. It was like they were still not believing it was real.
Thankfully, I found a small ant on the bullet train and immediately crushed it.
[You have won the first situation. Congratulations!]
I was waiting for the timer to go up by the time it had reached zero. I closed my eyes, put both hands on my ears, and turned towards the direction where no one else would die.
The Goblin was shocked by the sole survivor of the bullet train. He thought that more people would have survived, but as he watched, I was the only survivor. He snapped his fingers and teleported me to the second situation.
