(Jay-jay's POV)
I should've stepped away.
After that kiss.
After everything that just happened in front of the entire class.
I should've created distance.
I should've said something sarcastic.
I should've gone back to being… careful.
But I didn't.
Because his hand was still on my waist.
And I didn't move it.

That was the problem.
The entire class was still screaming like something historic just happened.

Keifer didn't move.

Jay-jay: "You kissed me in front of everyone."
Keifer: "You kissed me back."
The class SCREAMED again.
Felix: "EXPOSED!"
Calix: "SHE CAN'T DENY IT!"
Mayo: "WE SAW IT!"

Blaster: "HD QUALITY!"
I turned slightly.
Jay-jay: "…I regret everything."
David: "Too late."
I looked back at Keifer.

Keifer: "And you're still here."

Silence.
Dangerous silence.
Because he knew—

Just… creating space.

Keifer didn't stop me.

He just watched.

I paused for half a second.
Then walked away.

She didn't run.
Not really.
But she needed space.
And for once—
I gave it to her.

I wasn't afraid she'd disappear.

Because she kissed me back.
Because she stayed.
