One Piece: Lone Monster
Chapter 3
Ron briefly visited Long Ring Long Land, but the island itself did not interest him much. The place was quiet and mostly empty, though the fruits growing there were surprisingly sweet and refreshing. After resting for a short while and eating his fill, he took to the sky again once the Log Pose stabilized.
"If I'm right, the next island should be Jaya," Ron muttered while flying high above the ocean. The wind rushed past him as he followed the direction of the Log Pose.
A moment later, the needle suddenly tilted upward. Ron raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly. "Looks like I'm already here."
With a powerful flap of his wings, Ron soared higher into the sky. The clouds grew thicker around him until the blue sea below completely disappeared from view.
When he finally landed on the Sky Islands, Ron immediately grinned in excitement. The clouds beneath his feet felt soft yet firm, allowing him to walk on them as if they were solid ground.
"These clouds are actually fun," he said with a chuckle as he casually walked across the sky.
After exploring the lower cloud islands for a short while, Ron flew toward Upper Yard, the large piece of land that had been blasted into the sky by the Knock-Up Stream centuries ago.
As soon as he landed, Ron sensed multiple presences scattered across the island. His Observation Haki easily picked up the intense battles happening between the Shandorians and Skypieans.
He ignored them completely and simply walked deeper into the forest. His destination was not their conflict, but the legendary City of Gold hidden somewhere within the jungle.
After wandering through the dense forest for several hours and occasionally knocking aside warriors who tried to stop him, Ron finally arrived at the magnificent ruins of Shandora.
"It's really incredible," Ron muttered while staring at the golden structures around him. "How many years must it have taken them to build a city like this?"
Without hesitation, Ron began storing massive amounts of gold inside his inventory. Entire statues, walls, and ornaments vanished the moment he touched them.
Once he finished collecting the gold he wanted, Ron began searching the ruins for two specific things — the Goro Goro no Mi and the Ark Maxim blueprints.
He explored ancient temples, forgotten ruins, and hidden underground passages scattered throughout Upper Yard. Along the way, he also collected various Dials unique to Skypiea and even bought a few Sky Weavers used by the locals.
Ron tried many strange foods found on the Sky Islands and stored several unique fruits in his inventory. Months passed as he continued exploring nearly every corner of the island.
Eventually, after thoroughly searching the ruins near Shandora and the forest surrounding the massive Giant Jack vine, Ron finally discovered the Ark Maxim blueprints.
"Nice," Ron said with satisfaction while storing the blueprints inside his inventory.
However, despite months of searching, the Goro Goro no Mi was nowhere to be found.
"Seriously… did that Devil Fruit not form yet?" Ron muttered irritably while scratching his head. "Or is it hidden somewhere else?"
He had already searched most of the forest and the ruins around Upper Yard, yet there was still no sign of the fruit.
"That's the strongest Logia in existence," Ron sighed. "I can't just give up."
Several more weeks passed as Ron continued his search across every remaining corner of the island. The more he searched, the more irritated he became.
"Is it hiding from me or something?" Ron grumbled. "Why do people in novels find it immediately after arriving in Skypiea?"
"I've been searching for months and still haven't found it."
Eventually, Ron climbed to the top of the massive Giant Jack vine where the legendary Golden Bell and the Poneglyph were located.
Standing in front of the ancient stone tablet, Ron cracked his knuckles.
"These things are indestructible," he muttered with interest. "Perfect training equipment."
Without using Haki, Ron began punching the Poneglyph with his bare fists. Each strike was thrown purely with raw physical strength.
The entire vine trembled slightly with every punch he threw.
"Garp trains his fists by punching warships," Ron chuckled. "I'll train mine by punching Poneglyphs."
After a long session of training, Ron finally stopped and looked toward the massive Golden Bell hanging nearby.
"Should I take you too?" he muttered thoughtfully while examining it.
After thinking for a moment, Ron decided there was no reason to leave it behind. Before storing it, he swung his fist and struck the bell.
DWENG
The deep, powerful sound echoed across the entire sky.
Ron struck it again.
DWENG
The sound of the bell rang throughout Skypiea and even reached the distant island of Jaya far below.
The Shandorian warriors who were fighting the Skypieans suddenly froze as the sound reached their ears.
"The bell… it rang!" one warrior shouted in disbelief.
"Our ancestors' promise has finally been fulfilled!" another cried.
"The Light of Shandora has returned!"
"Noland's descendants must have heard it too!"
Tears filled the warriors' eyes as they fell to their knees in overwhelming joy.
Meanwhile, Ron casually stored both the Golden Bell and the Poneglyph inside his inventory.
"There's no way I'm leaving this behind," he muttered calmly.
The Poneglyph revealed the identity of Shirahoshi as Poseidon, and Ron had no intention of letting that information spread carelessly.
"More than Poseidon, she's just an innocent and kind girl," Ron said quietly. "It would be better if fewer people knew about this."
Since he was planning to leave Skypiea soon, Ron had no problem taking the bell with him.
After eating an enormous amount of food at a local restaurant, Ron resumed his search one last time before leaving.
He wandered into another set of ancient ruins and searched carefully, but still found nothing.
"Damn it… it's not here either," Ron muttered angrily.
Frustrated, Ron punched the ruins, causing pieces of stone to collapse into rubble.
This wasn't the first time he had done something like this during his long search.
Ron sighed and turned to leave, but something suddenly caught his eye among the broken debris.
Half-buried in the rubble was a strange fruit with a swirling pattern.
Ron's eyes widened before he burst into laughter.
"Bahahahaha! Finally found you, you bastard!"
He picked up the Goro Goro no Mi and carefully stored it inside his inventory.
"Now I can finally leave this cursed place," Ron said with a satisfied grin.
Night had already fallen across the Sky Islands, so Ron simply decided to rest.
Yawning lazily, he stretched his body and lay down to sleep.
"It's night already… I'll leave in the morning."
{Ahem, guys suggest me a mythical Zoan for mc. I will be waiting till god valley. }
