One Piece: Lone Monster
Chapter 5
Ron flew across the seas for several weeks on his way toward Sabaody Archipelago. Even with his monstrous Lunarian stamina, he still needed to take occasional breaks during the long journey.
Food and water were never a problem for him because of his Inventory ability. Whenever he traveled, he always stored large amounts of supplies inside it.
"Who knows what items might come in handy while traveling the sea," Ron muttered casually while flying above the endless ocean.
Eventually, after days of travel, the giant mangrove trees of Sabaody Archipelago finally appeared on the horizon. Ron slowly descended toward the island while shrinking his body to a height of about 190 centimeters.
His black wings folded tightly against his back and remained hidden beneath his clothes, while the Lunarian flames on his back were completely extinguished.
"Yeah… I'm definitely not strong enough yet to survive a full World Government and Marine hunt," Ron said calmly as he walked through the lively streets.
Sabaody was a beautiful place filled with massive mangrove trees, floating bubbles, and bustling markets. Pirates, merchants, and travelers moved everywhere, creating a chaotic but lively atmosphere.
Ron ignored the scenery for the moment and walked straight into the nearest restaurant he could find.
The moment he sat down, he waved his hand casually toward the waiter. "Bring me everything you have."
The waiter blinked in surprise but quickly nodded before bringing several dishes to the table. Ron finished them within minutes.
"Keep bringing food," Ron said while wiping his mouth. "Don't stop."
Soon the waiters were running back and forth, continuously placing plates of food in front of him. Inside the kitchen, the cooks began preparing dishes as fast as they possibly could.
The customers in the restaurant soon gathered around Ron's table, cheering and laughing as they watched him devour one dish after another.
After some time, a middle-aged man, likely the restaurant owner, nervously approached Ron.
"Sir… I'm very sorry," the man said with an awkward smile. "But all the food in the restaurant is finished."
Ron sighed in disappointment before standing up from his seat.
"Fine," he muttered while paying the bill before leaving.
As an Ancient Giant, Ron required enormous amounts of food to satisfy his body. Even though he had shrunk his size, his metabolism was still far beyond that of normal humans.
He spent the next few hours visiting several restaurants across Sabaody until he finally felt satisfied.
After filling his stomach, Ron began visiting various weapon shops around the island.
He wanted to buy a sword, preferably a famous blade, but none of the stores seemed to have anything interesting.
Eventually, Ron stopped inside another small weapon shop and looked toward the old owner behind the counter.
"Hey old man," Ron said casually. "Are there really no famous swords for sale anywhere?"
The owner calmly puffed on his cigarette before answering.
"If you want something like that, kid, your only option is the auction house."
Ron sighed internally as he left the shop.
'Why could Zoro randomly find two famous swords in a shop, but I can't even find one?' he complained silently.
With nothing else to try, Ron headed toward Grove 1, where the largest auction house in Sabaody Archipelago was located.
The massive building was filled with wealthy buyers, pirates, nobles, and shady businessmen.
Ron entered quietly and sat among the audience as the auction continued.
One item after another was brought onto the stage — rare artifacts, exotic animals, and valuable materials.
Eventually, the part Ron disliked the most arrived.
Human slaves were brought onto the stage for auction.
Ron sighed quietly but remained seated.
He wasn't some saint who would go around saving everyone in the world. This was simply how the world of pirates worked.
He continued waiting patiently, hoping a sword he liked would appear, but none of the items interested him.
Just as he was about to leave, the auctioneer suddenly raised his voice dramatically.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" the man shouted excitedly. "Next month's grand auction will feature something truly special!"
"We will be auctioning a Supreme Grade Sword, several Devil Fruits, and even rare Adam Wood!"
"Don't miss it!"
Ron's eyes immediately lit up with excitement.
"That's exactly what I was waiting for," he muttered with a grin.
"So I have to stay here for a month, huh…"
Ron stood up and slowly left the auction house.
"For a Supreme Grade Sword, waiting a month is nothing," he said calmly.
For now, Ron would simply stay in Sabaody Archipelago and wait for the next auction.
{Ahem, guys suggest me a mythical Zoan for mc. I will be waiting till god valley. }
