The night slowly faded as they returned.
"Let's go back. Unlike in our world, time moves slower here. One minute we spend in this place is equivalent to five minutes in our world," Luna said calmly.
"Alright, Aunt," Ken replied.
With a gentle motion, Luna raised her hand once more and reopened the portal. The air around them distorted, forming a crack in space that slowly expanded into a swirling gateway.
They stepped through.
The moment they exited—
They were greeted by the faint glow of dawn.
The sky was beginning to lighten.
They were stunned.
Morning was already approaching.
Without wasting time, Luna headed straight to the kitchen, her movements quick but composed.
Lucy followed shortly after, offering to help prepare breakfast, while Ken came in behind them to assist in setting the table.
The quiet house gradually filled with the soft sounds of cooking—the clinking of utensils, the gentle crackle of heat, and the faint aroma of warm food spreading through the air.
Hours passed.
Later, Ken, Lucy, and Luna gathered inside Ken's room. The atmosphere was serious, the air heavy with unspoken questions.
Luna looked at the two of them before speaking.
"I will train you in the easiest way to bring out your powers," Luna said.
Lucy hesitated, uncertainty clear in her eyes.
"What if I don't actually have any power?" Lucy asked, doubt evident in her voice.
"If Ken was able to release his power, then it's very likely that you have one as well—especially because of your hair."
"And besides, there's something I need to confirm," Luna added.
She leaned forward slightly, her gaze sharpening.
"Tell me… has anything strange happened to you?"
Lucy nodded slowly.
"Yes, Aunt Luna… I had a dream. There was a woman with red hair standing in front of me. She gave me something that was glowing. I couldn't move my body… and after a while, I ended up eating the glowing object she gave me."
Ken immediately followed.
"The same thing happened to me, Aunt… but the one who gave it to me was a man. He had black hair, and he was surrounded by darkness. He had two horns and large wings. What he gave me was black… and I also ate it in my dream."
He paused, recalling the moment.
"And Aunt… before that happened, I accidentally held Lucy's hand. We felt a powerful force flow through our bodies… and then we saw some kind of vision."
As Ken spoke, Luna fell into deep thought.
The room grew quiet.
Her expression turned serious.
"Hm… based on what Lucy said, it seems she is indeed connected to the Zodiac known as Emelyra. You said the red-haired woman gave you something that shined, and you consumed it. I don't fully understand its meaning… but I'm certain that you possess light magic."
She slowly began explaining, her voice steady.
"According to the legend, Emelyra's body was destroyed after the battle due to the time limit caused by consuming the Divine Fruit. Which means that after her death, her soul and power were left to wander freely."
She looked directly at Lucy.
"But there's only one conclusion."
"You are the reincarnation of Emelyra Scarlet—also proven by your hair color."
Lucy froze.
Disbelief filled her face as she tried to process what she had just heard.
Meanwhile, Luna shifted her gaze toward Ken.
"As for Ken… I cannot explain it. The legend never mentioned anything about a man with horns."
"At first, I thought you might be connected to the Zodiac Scorpio, since he is known as the God of Shadows. And also, Scorpio was sealed in space, so he cannot be reincarnated or possess a vessel.
Her brows furrowed slightly.
Ken's power remained a mystery.
The origin of his dark magic…
Was something not recorded in any legend.
And that made it far more dangerous.
