SF Chapter 25: Big Bang
The next day, Daniel was at Leonard's place. Sheldon, Raj, and Howard were there as well.
"Leonard, you missed the family hug yesterday," Daniel joked, typing on the computer as he finished another part of the Superbad script.
His cousin stared at him, a little astonished. "Not as bad as my mother, but your dad doesn't really seem like the hugging type."
"Yeah, the old man mellowed out. Probably because of Gloria."
"No offense, Daniel, but I can really see why," Leonard commented suggestively, and the two of them ended up laughing.
"So is your stepmother really that hot?" Howard asked, a little too eagerly.
Daniel finished typing and looked at the horny nerd. "You'd better not see her, or you'll say some stupid shit and I'll be forced to break your face," he warned, making sure to show the difference in their body mass.
Out of the three friends his cousin had, Daniel liked Howard the least.
"Hey, no need to be so aggressive," Howard shrank back, knowing when not to test someone's patience - especially someone much taller and stronger than him.
Daniel ignored him and asked his cousin, who was finishing unloading all the food they had bought. "Leonard, do you want my Stormtrooper?"
He paused while taking the food box out and stared, astonished. "You mean your life-sized, four-grand dollars Stormtrooper?"
"Yeah, that one. I bought a life-sized Darth Vader, so I'm getting rid of it. I'm giving it to you, for all your help."
"Wow," Leonard said enthusiastically, but then paused. "Isn't that a bit too much?"
"Nah, it's okay."
But before his cousin could thank him, Sheldon intervened. "Hang on a second. I also contributed to this thing, whatever it is. And this apartment is also mine," he reasoned. "I think it's only fair that I get half of it."
"Sheldon!" Leonard snapped at his roommate.
Daniel just shrugged. "I'll have it delivered here. You guys can decide the ownership part between yourselves."
"Well, I really appreciate it. Thanks, Daniel," his cousin said with a wide grin.
"If Leonard were a girl, he'd probably be getting laid with Daniel right now," Raj pointed out, making everyone laugh except Sheldon.
Leonard began handing out the food, starting with Howard. "Here you go. Pad Thai, no peanuts."
Howard took the box but asked, "Does it have peanut oil?"
"I'm not sure. Everyone keep an eye on Howard in case he starts to swell up."
"Since it's not bee season, you can have my epinephrine," Sheldon offered, taking his own food as well.
Raj inquired when he received his, "Any chopsticks?"
"You don't need chopsticks. This is Thai food," Sheldon corrected him.
"Here we go…"
The tallest physicist began his explanation. "Thailand has had the fork since the latter half of the nineteenth century."
He went on, "Interestingly, they don't put the fork in their mouth." He gestured with his plastic fork. "They use it to put the food onto a spoon, which then goes into their mouth."
"Ask him for a napkin. I dare you," Leonard said, mocking Raj. "And here's your potion, Daniel. Are you going to eat with Penny?"
"Yep. She texted me saying she's on her way up."
"Are you going to have coitus today?" Howard asked, as always making an inappropriate sex comment.
Daniel made another question in return. "Do you know who doesn't have coitus?"
Seeing that he had everyone's attention, he answered himself. "People who call it coitus."
Leonard and Raj burst out loud.
Then someone knocked on the door.
"It must be her," Daniel said as he got up to answer it.
After opening the door, he smirked. "Hey, Penny."
"Hi, Dani," the blonde smiled back and gave him a light kiss.
Since the door was wide open, Penny also greeted the other four who were sitting inside.
"Oh, this is..." Daniel was about to introduce them, but one of them had already stepped forward.
"Enchanté, mademoiselle. Howard Wolowitz, Caltech Department of Applied Physics," he said, making a pose.
"Howard," Daniel warned in a low voice.
He took a step back. "I was just saying hello."
Penny tried to hide her disgusted expression.
"That's Raj," Daniel pointed at the Indian man. "He has some... difficulties."
"He can't talk to women, especially beautiful women," Howard jumped in again.
Penny then looked at Sheldon and Leonard. "I was wondering if you could help me out…"
The two of them stared at her.
"I'm having some furniture delivered, and I might not be here. So if you could sign for it and bring it in?" She gestured toward her apartment.
"Yeah, no problem," Leonard agreed while eating his Thai food.
"Great, thank you. I'll leave my spare key here," she said, placing a key on the side table.
"They already get the spare key?" Daniel whispered jokingly. "What about me?"
Penny just rolled her eyes, but smiling.
"So, food?" He asked, lifting the two boxes he was holding.
"Sure!" She pulled him along.
Before closing the door, he leaned his head back inside and said, "Don't wait me up, guys."
[Raj commentary]
Raj was sitting on Leonard's couch. He glanced around. He confessed, "one of the things I was influenced by Daniel…" Raj adjusted the blazer he was wearing, "…is 'Suit Up!', as he likes to say."
"So I stopped dressing like Howard," he concluded. "Girls have started looking at me more… I think," he paused, wondering if it was just his imagination.

At Penny's place, the two of them were kissing intensely on her couch.
"Wait, wait," Penny said between kisses. "We should eat first…"
"I'm almost eating someone…" Daniel joked, pulling her into another deep kiss. But then he pulled back.
"But fine, let's eat before the food gets cold."
"There's wine in the fridge. Let me just take off my work clothes, I'll be back in a minute…" Penny said as she headed to the bedroom.
She came back wearing a white tank top and colorful shorts. The tank top helped emphasize Penny's attributes.
"What?" she made an innocent face, picking up one of the wine glasses from the table in front of the couch.
Daniel sipped his own wine. "You can't fault me if I can't manage to look you in the eyes. It's physics!" he argued. "You can ask the physics geniuses over there," he added, pointing toward the other apartment.

After they finished dinner, they went back to making out, Daniel getting even bolder as his hand roamed.
"Hey, Penny."
"Mmm," she muttered, enjoying the way Daniel teased her nipple with his hand.
"How about we hit the beach this weekend?" he proposed. "I'm staying with my brother at a beach house in Malibu. We can enjoy the day there."
"Sounds like a plan," she agreed after thinking about it for a moment. "Whoa," Penny said, surprised as she playfully placed a hand on Dani's lower part.
He didn't make it to home run, but he did manage to advance to third base.

Author's note: About Howard - one of the reasons Daniel doesn't like him is because he drives women away.
Also, there's a clear difference between boldness and being creepy. Daniel knows when a girl isn't into it.
