While the soldiers were busy finishing off the bull. Megumi had made his next move. He leapt out of the building, smashing through the window from the second floor. The guards shifted their attention towards him and ran to shoot him from below. But Megumi summons Nue.
Carried upon it back, the shikigami flew high enough, not to be shot by any bullets. It discharged a powerful bolt of lightning, that burned and scattered all the soldiers that were under its range.
"Move it" the commander shouted dazzled by that sudden lightning.
The engine roared and the truck was leaving the grounds. Megumi dropped himself from Nue and hid himself into his shadow at the burned site where Nue lightning fell.
The guards hurried and gathered at that spot. All of them were vigilant, their senses were scanning for any movement. But there was no sign of his presence.
After a minute, they heard a phrase
"Great serpent: Maximum output"
Upon hearing it they at once loaded their guns. But the danger was arriving from somewhere else. The shadows of all the guards were melting into one great liquid pool. Before they could notice this violation of nature, a collosal white serpent with it jaw wide open headed from the ground below. In one single gulp, it swallowed the whole battlement of armed forces.
After finishing off the guards, the great serpent coiled itself up into a ball. On the top of it snout, Megumi was sitting, laughing slightly perhaps amuse by this sudden skirmish. But his humour was interrupted with a phone call.
"Megumi sama, the truck is on its way out of the city. I can see that it has the object that you are after" Aoi said.
"Very good, now everything rests on Sanso. I will be heading at once to assist him" he replied.
He jumped off the serpent snout and summoned Nue, who carried him along the path.
