Sanso was hiding behind a pole waiting for the truck to pass by. At the distance he could see the headlights of the truck, but the vehicle was coming at full speed to directly confront. Just in a blink of an eye it got right pass him.
Sanso unleashed a piercing blood that pierced the back door of the truck. Using the blood as a rope, he was being pulled by the truck. Luckily, they had planned it beforehand, so we got himself a pair of roller skates.
For quite a while, the driver was oblivious to the thought of anyone pursuing him. But upon looking at the side mirror, and witnessing Sanso he freaked out. He drove the truck right and left, trying his best to smash him with any incoming car. But Sanso barely managed to dodge each one of them.
Putting a lot of strength on his legs, he did an impressive high jump, landing on the top of the truck. A loud thump alerted the driver. Bring his palm together he made an urn shape and deployed another curse technique; Blood drill. The medium size drill started breaking the roof and created a hole large enough for Sanso to pass into.
[Blood drill, another blood based technique. The user created a drill of any size he wishes by using his blood and giving it a shape. The drill will continue digging until it accomplishes it or is either dissolved.]
The driver decided it was a direct situation. Pulling the drawer, he took out a pistol that was wrapped in a towel. The pistol was not to shot a person but for an entirely other purpose.
The truck that was carrying the object was specially designed for that purpose. On pressing a button, the carrier portion could detach from the main truck. The carrier front part has a small fuel tank which is filled with gasoline. Just a small spark was all that was needed to create an explosion. It may seem reckless considering such valuables are inside it. But extra measures were taken. In case their was any danger to the prized article, sensors within the truck would command the system to switch the article with another. The original would be placed in a safe vault beneath it's platform while the duplicate be on display at the former position.
Taking a deep breath the driver picked the gun and said to himself "Time to finish this business"
Just when he was about to turn and shot at the fuel tank, the road bifurcated into two. The truck main body was still moving forward with some speed. It's headlights illuminated the shape of a human that was standing at the middle of the road. Taken by suprise, the driver gun dropped from his hand and he gripped the steering wheel and turn the truck towards right.
"What the-" unable to control the turn, the vehicle crashed onto a pole. The carrier that had still some motion hit the crashed truck and was atlast brought to a stop.
The figure that had appeared suddenly walked towards the carrier. Gripping the back door with one hand, he pulled out the door from its hinges and held it in the air.
Sanso was wrapped as a snake around a glass jar, that was holding the article inside. He peeped through his right arm and was delighted to see a familiar face.
"Oh Dabura kun. So nice to meet you again" he greeted him. His eyes shifted to something behind Dabura "Megumi sama you are here too."
For the first time both Dabura and Megumi met each other face to face. And a tense air was already brewing around them.
