Jay-Jay's POV
The classroom felt weird after Keifer came back.
Not awkward weird.
Dangerous weird.
Because ever since attendance earlier, I could literally feel him staring at me from behind every five seconds.
Annoying.
Very annoying.
I kept pretending to focus on my notebook while the boys quietly talked to Keifer.
"How's London?" Drew asked.
"Boring."
"Did you miss us?" Eman grinned.
"No."
"Liar," Cin replied immediately.
The boys laughed softly while I continued writing like I didn't care.
Even though my heart was beating way too fast for absolutely no reason.
Then suddenly—
Something slid onto my desk.
A chocolate bar.
Again.
I stared at it for two seconds before slowly turning around.
Keifer was leaning back against his chair lazily while spinning a pen between his fingers.
"For you, baby."
My eyes widened instantly.
Baby?!
"Excuse me?" I whispered aggressively.
A smirk slowly appeared on his face.
God.
That stupid smirk.
"I missed annoying you," he said quietly.
The boys immediately reacted.
"OOOOOH."
"BRO STARTED FAST."
"WELCOME BACK WATSON."
Meanwhile my face started feeling warmer.
Annoying.
Very annoying.
I quickly grabbed the chocolate and pushed it back onto his desk.
"I don't want it."
Keifer looked down at it before looking back at me calmly.
"Still dramatic, I see."
My jaw dropped slightly.
"Dramatic?!"
He nodded seriously. "Very."
Cin almost fell off his chair laughing while Felix covered his mouth trying not to smile.
I glared at all of them immediately before turning back around.
Absolutely not.
I refused to let him affect me this easily.
Then quietly from behind me—
"You look prettier when you're angry."
My pen slipped from my hand instantly.
The boys exploded.
"AYOOOO."
"BRO RELAX."
"HE JUST GOT BACK."
Meanwhile I sat there completely frozen while my face burned.
What was wrong with him?!
Keifer only chuckled softly behind me.
"You're nervous."
"I am not."
"You've dropped your pen twice already."
I looked down immediately.
…Oh.
Stupid hands.
I quickly grabbed my pen while hearing him laugh quietly behind me again.
And honestly?
That laugh alone made my chest feel weird.
Again.
