Jay-Jay's POV
The second the bell rang for lunch break, the entire classroom finally became noisy again.
Chairs moving.
Boys yelling.
People leaving the room dramatically like they escaped prison.
Normal Section E behavior.
I quickly stood up from my seat and grabbed my bag.
My only plan?
Escape before Keifer started talking again.
But obviously—
Life hated me.
"Jay."
I froze instantly.
That stupid nickname again.
Slowly, I turned around.
Keifer was leaning against the back desk casually while looking at me with that same annoying smirk on his face.
"What?" I asked carefully.
"You're avoiding me."
"I'm eating lunch."
"With who?"
"That's none of your business."
"Everything about you is my business."
My face heated up immediately.
Behind him, the boys started reacting dramatically again.
"BROOO."
"WATSON RELAX."
"HE CAME BACK FLIRTING IMMEDIATELY."
Meanwhile Keifer looked completely unbothered.
Actually no—
He looked entertained.
Which somehow annoyed me more.
I crossed my arms immediately. "Move."
"No."
"What do you mean no?"
"You ignored me all morning."
"Good."
"That hurt my feelings."
"You don't have feelings."
The boys burst out laughing loudly while Keifer placed a hand on his chest dramatically.
"Wow."
"Move."
"Say please."
I stared at him in disbelief.
"Keifer."
"That's not please."
Cin was literally dying laughing now while Felix looked tired already.
"Bro just let her eat," Felix sighed.
"No," Keifer replied calmly while still staring directly at me. "I missed her."
Silence.
The boys immediately looked at me dramatically.
And suddenly—
I became very aware of how close he was standing.
Too close.
Way too close.
My heartbeat started speeding up again for absolutely no reason.
Annoying.
Very annoying.
Keifer noticed immediately.
A small smirk appeared on his face again.
"You're nervous."
"I'm literally not."
"You keep fixing your sleeves when you're nervous."
My hands instantly stopped moving.
Oh my God.
The boys reacted loudly again.
"BRO KNOWS HER TOO WELL."
"IT'S OVER FOR HER."
"WATSON IS INSANE."
I glared at all of them immediately. "Can you all shut up?!"
"No," Drew answered proudly.
Keifer chuckled softly before finally stepping aside.
"Go eat, baby."
I almost choked on air.
"STOP CALLING ME THAT."
Meanwhile he just grinned lazily while watching me walk toward the door.
And honestly?
I hated the fact that my face still felt warm even after leaving the classroom.
