Lin Tian walked forward. Nobody stopped him. He just kept going. The path split into two. Then it split again.
There were stone lines on the ground crossing over each other and connecting. People were walking through them without stopping.
They seemed to know where they were going. Lin Tian did not know where he was going. He just kept moving ahead.
The buildings around him were not very tall. They were close together. The walls were plain.
The edges of the buildings were worn out. There was no decoration on the walls. The only thing that mattered was what the buildings were used for.
Lin Tian could hear voices coming from the buildings. The voices were not loud. They were not quiet either. They were normal voices. It was different from the cave and the forest. In the cave and the forest it was quiet. Here it was not quiet.
A person walked past Lin Tian. The person glanced at him. Did not stop. The person did not seem to be interested in Lin Tian. Lin Tian did not react. He just kept moving. There was a group of people standing near a wall.
They were talking to each other. When Lin Tian walked past them they stopped talking for a moment. Then they started talking. Lin Tian felt like they were aware of him. They did not do anything.
Lin Tian walked into an open space. It was like a courtyard. The ground was made of dirt. It was flat. Many people were standing in the courtyard.
Some of them were moving around while others were standing still. They were all training. Lin Tian could see their hands moving up and down. It was a basic movement. They were not doing anything. They were just moving their hands and feet.
A man was standing on the side watching the people train. He was not saying anything. He was just watching. Lin Tian felt like the man was very calm and steady. Lin Tian stopped at the edge of the courtyard. Watched.
He was breathing slowly. The air was moving in and out of his body. The Chaos Qi inside him was moving too. It was not interrupted.. It felt different. The air around him had Qi in it. The Qi was not very dense. It was not very thin either. It was just right.
The Chaos Qi inside Lin Tian responded to the Qi in the air. It moved subtly. It did not resist the Qi in the air. It did not absorb it either. It just adjusted to it. The circulation of the Chaos Qi slowed down a bit then it became stable again. The man who was watching the courtyard turned around. He looked at Lin Tian. He walked over to Lin Tian. His steps were firm and even.
The man stopped in front of Lin Tian. Said, "You are new here." Lin Tian nodded. The man looked at him from head to toe. He did not look at him slowly or quickly. He just looked at him. Then he said, "Do you have a token?"
Lin Tian did not say anything. The mans gaze shifted slightly. He understood that Lin Tian did not have a token. He said, "You came with someone." Lin Tian said, "I came with Su Yan."
The mans expression did not change.. Something about him changed slightly. He turned around. Walked towards a building. He did not. Delay.
Lin Tian remained where he was. The people around him were still training. Their movements were. Measured. Their breaths were controlled. Lin Tian watched them. He was aware of their Qi.
Their Qi was stable and even. It was different from his Chaos Qi. His Chaos Qi was heavier and denser.. It was not as refined as their Qi.
The man returned with an object in his hand. He stopped in front of Lin Tian. Held out the object. It was a simple token. It was dark and unmarked.
The man said, "You are a disciple now." Lin Tian took the token. When his fingers touched it he felt a sensation. It was like the token recognized him. The man said, "Your room assignment is inside the building. Follow the markings to find your room. Training starts at dawn."
Lin Tian looked at the token. Then he lowered his hand. The Chaos Qi inside him touched the token lightly.. It did not react. Lin Tian moved towards the building. The entrance was open. Inside the air was cool. The light was dim. There was a narrow corridor stretching. The walls were lined with markings. They were symbols that repeated over and over. They showed the direction to go. Lin Tian followed the markings. He turned left right then straight. The space narrowed down. There were doors along the walls. They were closed and unmarked.
Lin Tian stopped at one of the doors. He did not know which room it was.. Something about it felt right. He pushed the door open. The room was small and plain. There was a bed and a table. Nothing else. Lin Tian stepped inside. Closed the door. The sound was soft. He stood still for a moment.
The noise from outside faded away. It was not gone,. It was distant. Lin Tian exhaled slowly. The Chaos Qi inside him moved clearly. He sat down on the floor cross-legged. His posture settled naturally. His back was straight. His shoulders were relaxed. His eyes closed.
It was dark and quiet. Inside him the Chaos Qi was still moving. The three streams of Qi were not separate anymore.. They were not fully one either. They were circling around each other. Each cycle was smooth, but not perfect.
There were points where the flow hesitated. Where the connection thinned out. Lin Tian focused on those points. He did not force anything. He just observed. His breath slowed down. The Chaos Qi gathered inside him. Then it moved. The cycle repeated over and over. Each time it became more refined. More aligned.
Time passed. Lin Tian did not count it. The light outside faded away. Inside nothing changed. The flow of the Chaos Qi continued. At one point there was a flicker inside him. The deeper path responded. It was not strong. It was clear.
There was a pulse stillness. Lin Tian did not follow it. He did not push. He just let it settle. The Chaos Qi continued its cycle. It was stable and controlled. Lin Tians body remained still. There was no strain or pain. Only presence.
This was different. It was not about survival. It was not about breaking through. It was about rebuilding. It was slow and incomplete.. It was real. A sound came from outside. It was a bell. It was low and resonant.
Lin Tians breathing did not change. He just kept breathing. The cycle of the Chaos Qi continued. It was consistent and steady. Lin Tian opened his eyes slowly. The room was dark now. The shapes were faint. The edges were soft. Nothing had changed.. Everything had changed inside him.
The Chaos Qi had settled deeper. It was not just moving. It was rooting itself. Lin Tians gaze lowered to his hands.
They were still and steady. There was no tremor or instability. He stood up carefully. His body responded smoothly. There was no delay or resistance. He took one step, another. It was natural and controlled. He stopped.
The space around him was quiet and unmoving. It was safe for now.. It was not fixed or permanent. Lin Tian understood that without thinking.
He lay down on the bed. His eyes were open looking at nothing. His breathing was slow. Tomorrow there would be training.
There would be structure and observation and pressure. It would be different, from before.. It would not be less challenging. Lin Tians eyes closed.
The Chaos Qi continued moving inside him. In rest it was steady and unbroken. Lin Tian did not think further. He did not. Question. He just. Waited for the next step.
