After the initial fight, there had only been two other wyverns that had been spotted and killed by Calux and Seraphiel.
It was something extremely weird considering how many wolves they had killed previously in the other rift before reaching the boss.
Slowly, they started feeling an oppressive corrupted aura stemming from a cave entrance near the top of the mountain.
"Well I guess we're here, there's no other wyverns around therefore..."
Calux looked at Seraphiel to confirm if she was worried, but you could definitely see the sweat in her forehead.
She's nervous.
Unlike me who trains with five B rank beasts... Although I've gotten essentially killed tons of times by them, she's not used to this kind of aura, mom probably limited herself to D or C rank when training her...
"Hey, the most important thing here is safety alright? Make sure you stay at a safe distance, use ballistas since it's probably the only thing that may slightly damage the beast and have shield bearer's protect you okay?"
"But Calux, you can't take on this beast alone!"
She screamed angrily at him, she didn't want to be protected while he risked his life out there.
He smiled at her with that disarming smile that she loves/hates.
"It's okay, if anything extreme happens I'll summon Nyra, we'll be fine okay?"
Seraphiel looked at Calux intensely, not breaking eye contact this time.
"If you get hurt for playing the hero I'm going to beat you up along with your mother, humph!"

It was a gruesome sight to see.
In the center, a gigantic wyvern measuring over fourteen feet was sleeping on the ground with its head and tail almost touching each other as if it was trying to coil against it.
When it heard the steps coming from the cave entrance, it opened its eyes and its head stood up from the ground looking at the two humans that dared step foot in its cave.
"Humans... It's been a while since I tasted the flesh of a human.."
Shivers could be felt by both Seraphiel and Calux.
It was fluent, very fluent in the language they spoke.

In a split second, a portal opened by the side of Calux, and a beautiful obsidian, and purple beast, with golden lines in its wings came out imposingly.
Although it was less than half the size of the wyvern, the aura Nyraxis emanated was definitely not any lower than the beast in front of them.

However before he could cut it, the beast moved its tail away and slashed towards Calux with a strike made of wind.
Calux opened his eyes wide, and void stepped quickly, knowing that if that attack hit him, it would definitely do some heavy damage to his body.
"Wow... It's fast..."
'Father, this beast's instincts are very high... Be careful.'
"Well let's not conserve mana then..."
"Void Arrows!"
He used around twenty percent of his mana to create call out the skill.
Suddenly, ten purple arrows that glowed with void energy were hovering over the wyvern in different directions, essentially encircling the beast.

The arrows were launched, the beast tried to avoid the arrows, but some of the arrows were too well positioned, 4 of the arrows struck true and hit the beast on the neck, back leg, center body, and tail.
You could see gaping holes on the areas where the arrows hit, blood gushing out of the areas, but it was definitely not enough...
Although it was hurt, it was angrier than before.
