Di wakes up next morning only to find himself half naked. Tries to recall yesterday only to hurt his head a lot more. Riva enters with a glass of honey water.
Riva : Careful, here, have this it will relieve your hangover.
Di (surprised) : Hangover!? But never ever in my life have I touched alcohol then how...?
Riva (in a jealous tone) : Ask your new best friend then why asking me huh!
Di : You talking about Kine, He was here yesterday? Did mom say something to him?
Riva (sad) : No they were't home then....
Di (sighs) : Gosh
Riva (jealous and upset) : Who's he though? Is he more to you than me? And why does he know all about you?
Di (explains) : Honestly I myself don't know why I told him all of it, why we are so close and why I feel so weak around him. (Sighs). Also I'm really sorry I didn't tell you earlier, you know how I'm after I'm home. But now I'll tell you everything.
Di gives each and every detail he has of Kine, all his help and friendliness, Riva is surprised to know how close Di and Kine were. Di's shyness as he explains their sweet moments were noticed by Riva. She couldn't feel less when Di got someone for himself. Di notices and assures her
Di: Don't worry I know nothing gonna happen between us and I won't let any of us get hurt because of this.....
There's a loud knock on the door
Di's mother: Di, Riva, open up what's with this closed door early in the morning.
Di goes to open up the and sees His mother and stepfather who was holding a big wrapped red gift
Di (softly) : Mum....
Di's mother: Oh my forgetfulness. All thanks to your dad, he remembered.
Di looks at him not very pleasingly. Di's Father steps forward to give him the present. Di who was unwilling yet moves his hand to receive the gift but was touched inappropriately to which he reacted with a jerk.
Di's Mother (reacted) : what the heck is this reaction?! Can't you even accept his gratitude?
Di opens up the present half way and shuts it immediately upon seeing what's inside.
Di (shocked and feared yet mumbles to himself) : What the heck is this?(Di's eyes wide open)
Riva takes the present to see what's inside and is also stunned
Riva : What!? (She was so embarrassed to address that's inside the box)
Di's mother (without any expression) : What they are just s*x toys, never seen one before or what. Enjoy them for a while but don't forget the real purpose. What? I want a grandchild as soon as possible.
Di and Riva glance at each other shocked
Later that evening, Di and Riva sat together, mom and dad were out for a meeting. Both of them on their phone, Di continues to scroll photos from his birthday party zooms at Kine's photos and smiled unknowingly
Riv : So you and that Kine guy are you guys....
Di (still looking at his phone) : Never gonna happen, I don't think he's....
Riva : Hey I trust my Gaydar thingy you know.
Di : Oh wait, that darn Gaydar or whatever that thing is, nothing such exists okay and how many gays have you scanned through it by the way..?
Riv (with an embarrassed smile) : Like I don't know I never counted, it goes like you, your stepdad,he's bi though but still and your friend Ki…
Di : That day also at the mall, you suspected that unknown guy to be gay and then we saw him with his girlfriend.
Riva (interrupts) : Hold on. Wait a minute. (slaps him on his arm) That day all because of you, I forgot. Some time later, I saw that guy kissing another guy in front of the washroom. See! I told you, that gaydar thing exists and works as well….
Riva feeling proud of herself, Di hits her with a cushion. Then there was a chaotic pillow fight, running as if small kids. The day ended this way. It was Monday again. Di reaches the school late and hurriedly goes to make his attendance, where he sees Kine too. Both of them shared smiles.
Kine (cutely) : Good morning ~
Di (fulfilling the purpose he came for) : Morning .....
Kine (a bit worried) : You okay, you know it's all my fault, I shouldn't have... (places his index finger on Kine's lips)
Di : I trust you. (Kine stared at Di eyes glimmering with trust for him in surprise. Di realises, he moves away his hand and both of them start walking towards their class avoiding to look into each other's eyes)
Di : It was good though, I enjoyed it ...
Kine (still lost) : Huh, What?!
Di (*flicks on Kine's head) : Hmph, where are you always lost huh, it's everytime I talk to you, you are lost in your thoughts, do you...?
Kine (rubbing his head in pain and he saw an awkward question coming up so to cover it, he flicks Di's forehead, Di rubs his forehead in pain) : Why do you ask so many questions, aren't you ever tired of talking so much?!
(Di makes a cute face squeezing his eyes nose and lips)
Kine (a bit serious) : By the way, who's Riva to you?
Di as he was to answer bell rings, both of them smile at each other and leave. Kine was left curious. Fortunately, they were assigned the classes parallel to each other in the first class. Di who couldn't just leave the area near the board and his table was roaming in the class!? Di couldn't help but take a sneak peek at his....
Di (thinks to himself) : Wait did our eyes meet and he smiled and now I'm smiling too, Darn that's so embarrassing (He then covers his face) as he removes his hands from his face he sees that all the eyes are on him. Students were staring at him in disbelief as if saying "Was he just shy..."
Di : What are you guys looking at?! (Embarrassed) Go Lily solve question 5 on the board and rest in your copies.
Ms. Fervor knocks at the door
Fer : Mr. Dipole, you're being summoned by the principal.
Students start murmuring
Lily : Class! Keep it down...
Kine worried comes to ask Lily why Di was called
Lily : I also don't know....
Kine, worried and tensed goes back to his class to teach.
Kine (thinks) : What could have happened now?
