Jay's POV
"Keifer I… I think… that—"
Knock knock.
I closed my eyes.
No. No. No. Not now.
Keifer let out a tired sigh. "Who is it…"
We both turned.
"Aries."
He stood there, hands in his hoodie pockets, not smirking, not teasing… just looking at us like he already knew.
Keifer rolled the window down. "What happened?"
Aries spoke calmly, "It's late. You both should go home."
That's it.
No teasing. No jokes.
Just… that.
I blinked. "…That's why you knocked?"
He shrugged lightly. "Also… tita called. She's worried."
Keifer nodded. "Okay. We're leaving."
Aries looked at me for a second. "You okay?"
I hesitated… then nodded.
"Yeah."
He didn't push further. Just gave a small nod and stepped back.
"Goodnight."
And he left.
I exhaled slowly. "…He's not what I expected."
Keifer chuckled softly. "Yeah. He's annoying sometimes, but he knows when to stop."
Silence filled the car again.
That moment.
Our moment.
Still unfinished.
Keifer leaned closer. "Now… where were we?"
My heart started racing again.
"I… was saying…"
But this time, I didn't finish.
I just leaned in.
And kissed him.
Soft at first… then deeper.
His hand moved to my cheek, holding me gently like I might disappear.
For a second… everything felt quiet.
Safe.
Ours.
When we pulled away, we were both slightly breathless.
"…You didn't complete your sentence," he whispered.
I smiled. "You understood it, didn't you?"
He smiled back. "Yeah… I did."
"Good night"
"Good night I love you until the scientist finds the end of the world"
" I know"
Keifer's pov
I know.
Why did she said that.
The reply of I love you is I love you too then why I know.
Oh this girl, my love, she is so confusing.
I reached home, changed clothes and laid on the bed.
I was not able to sleep because my mind was busy replaying her memories.
Next Morning – School
Keifer's POV
"Finally," David said, looking at us, "the late legends have arrived."
Cin narrowed her eyes. "Why do you both look… suspiciously happy?"
Jay instantly looked away. "We're normal."
Felix gasped dramatically. "THEY ARE NOT NORMAL."
Calix leaned on the desk. "Something happened."
I smirked. "Nothing happened."
Jay kicked my leg under the desk.
"Ow—"
Cin pointed. "SEE."
Before the chaos could continue, a teacher walked in.
"Class, since your exams are finishing this week, the school has decided to organize a post-exam trip."
The entire class—
"WHAAAAAT?!"
Felix literally stood up. "WHERE?!"
The teacher smiled. "Location options will be decided by student votes."
David instantly got serious. "We need a plan."
Cin: "Beach."
Felix: "Mountains."
Calix: "Somewhere peaceful."
Jay looked at me. "Somewhere fun."
I leaned closer. "Anywhere with you."
She froze for a second… then looked away, trying to hide a smile.
Felix clutched his chest. "I can't. This is too much."
Jay's POV
Lunch break = chaos.
We all sat together planning like our lives depended on it.
Cin: "Matching outfits."
David: "It's a trip, not a fashion show."
Felix: "It can be both."
Calix: "Budget?"
Eman: "Food?"
Everyone went silent.
"…Right," Felix muttered.
I laughed.
Keifer leaned closer to me. "So… trip partner?"
I raised an eyebrow. "You're asking or deciding?"
"Both."
I smirked. "Confident."
He whispered, "Only with you."
Okay.
Why is my heart doing this again?
I leaned closer and quickly kissed his cheek.
"Approved."
He blinked. "…Jay."
"What?"
"You can't just do that randomly."
"Watch me."
Keifer's POV
Yeah.
This trip?
It's going to be chaos.
Fun chaos.
But as I looked at Jay laughing with everyone…
I realized something.
That unfinished confession from last night—
It wasn't unfinished anymore.
