"There she is," I said once Lia came to after ten minutes. "I can see you're having a hard time repaying the debt you owe to me."
Lia looked up weakly. "Debt? What... uh, well now that I've paid it off, will you leave me alone?"
"Why should I? I'm still so mad at you I could kill you," I said.
"What does that mean? Didn't you say I repaid everything?"
"Don't be a fool. What you paid was the debt for cornering me with your brother and Helen that one time. But what about the debt for when you walked me with a leash or took those pictures of me? And the debt for when you sold those pictures to Coach Danners?" I asked. Lia went pale. "You should think about paying those back before asking me to leave you alone."
"Coach... How did you know that I sold the photos? I was just doing what I was told—"
"It's the same way I know you forced Sara to jump, so there's no use lying when I know you're a willing participant, is there," I said.
