I woke up with a surprisingly clear head and feeling as embarrassed as ever. Darius kept his word as I could barely recall the burning. I mean the memory was there but the image was gone making it all feel like a dream.
If it weren't for the bite marks on me I would've thought it was just a dream. Not to mention, Lia's pink necklace was still on me.
Unfortunately the proof was concrete.
"Fuck, he actually did it," I sighed.
"Of course I did, Little One," Darius said from next to me. I was too sore to even be shocked he was there. "I see you took a trophy this time. Nice that you're finally warming up to your duties."
I look at him seeing that he'd somehow gotten more handsome. How annoying was that. "We need to make detailed agreements that don't exist in the contract." I said. "First call me Melody, not little one."
"Fine Melody, I'll indulge you since you've fed me well," he said.
