The original host clearly never had the time and resources to take care of herself. She grew up not knowing how to. Too bad, her beauty was going to waste.
And Sunnie wasn't going to let that happen anyway. She smiled at the system notification as she ran a hand through her hair. "What? You haven't seen beauty before or what? Quit looking and let's get going."
Luka managed to close his mouth with a nod. "Mmmh. Let's go."
---
The road they were taking had gotten bad. The path was rocky with shattered stones at all spots. The trees had fallen, thereby blocking most places.
The little houses built with sticks and leaves had been destroyed. No one was around the scene; it was clear that they had escaped from the chaos.
Sunnie could tell that one of her beast husbands was near. And this one seemed to specialize in bringing physical damage and chaos.
"I think Zayn did all this..." Luka speculated as they walked past a huge tree that had been destroyed through houses in one go.
Azure kept a calm expression, arms folded as he said, "It's probably Karl."
Sunnie only stared through the mess, speechless. She now understood why everyone hated her husbands, because no one would like anyone who visited without warning and brought such chaos!
She would hate them too!
"It's definitely Zayn. I'm sure about it. He's capable of doing this when he's mad. And even worse."
"Karl also is. And from the level of damage, it looks mostly like his handiwork." Azure was nerdy about his observation. He spoke like one who had made multiple mathematical calculations to present his bet.
Sunnie believed he would have been wearing glasses if he was in the modern era.
"Why are you guys bent on who did it? Either way, it's wrong. Can't y'all see how ruined this land is?"
"...."
The two of them stared at her, clearly surprised by her lectures. They stared at each other and then said.
"I don't see anything wrong with it," Luka explained.
"...." Sunnie was speechless. Were they really the psychopaths everyone made them out to be? If so, was she even safe?!
She sighed as she turned and continued moving. They took some steps forward before they heard a loud noise ahead.
A huge tree had fallen and a smash of some houses crumbling followed. Then some screams of some pigs, oinking in-between screams.
They were clearly running from the recent chaos happening.
"I guess we found them," Luka said as the three of them headed in the direction of the noise.
They soon arrived at the scene of the chaos as Azure added, "And it's the two of them, maybe?"
---
The scene was a mess. Trees were fallen and broken into two or three. Some were chopped into firewood through the fight. The ground had shattered with rocks dispersed across.
The houses there were nothing to write home about. They were unrecognizable, along with other home applications and installations around.
Pigs were already running for their dear lives. They didn't even bother stopping. And when Sunnie looked up, she caught sight of something flying.
No, someone.
It was a beastman. A man with short messy black hair, partially tied back in a ponytail, his thin ears sliding backwards like a bird's. Some beads were around his hair and neck. He had no shirt on, so it was easy to see his well-defined body. His abs, chest lines, all were muscled. There were tribal black marks around his body and around his waist were black lion clothes and some black beads around his ankles.
He had strong black wings behind him. Like the eagle he was, he was flying around powerfully with a furious expression lingering on his face.
He wasn't the only one. Because he was fighting with someone who was on the ground—a tiger beastman.
This beastman had short yellow hair with yellow tiger ears atop his head. His face was well-defined and looked more mature and cold than the rest. He had some tiger marks at the side of his face and beads around his neck too.
This beastman had a buff body and without doubt the biggest body built amongst them. He had some animal skin across his body but it didn't hide his huge buff muscles and abs. He looked like one who could squash anyone in a moment without thinking. And his cold ruthless expression went a long way to tell how dominating he could be.
This cold and ruthless looking beastman stepped backwards as the Eagle man grabbed a tall thin tree from the top and pulled it out of its root.
Sunnie gasped—that strength wasn't human!
She watched as this eagle man tossed the tree in the tiger's direction. But this tiger used his huge hand to slap the tree aside.
The tree flew in the direction of a mountain there and smashed itself against it, causing a crack in it.
The two didn't stop there. The eagle man kept attacking, furious and aggressive in all possible ways. He was throwing everything at him—rocks, trees, he didn't care.
The Tiger man didn't even bother attacking. He simply dodged the attacks while brushing them off like it was nothing. He had that calm and dominating demeanor while he shielded himself from the aggressive attacks of the eagle.
"Give it to me!!" The eagle snapped as he threw a rock in his direction but the tiger smashed the rock with his fist.
He scoffed. "You have to try harder than that to call this a fight," he said, pissing the eagle off. The eagle attacked further while the environment suffered.
It was obvious that this cold Tiger was stronger and didn't even see this eagle as an opponent. But this aggressive short-tempered eagle was bent on proving himself a worthy opponent.
Sunnie only stared, baffled, as the system beeped.
