The skyline of Shanghai had changed. In the center of the city, where the Jade Pavilion once stood, there was now a spire of black glass and silver steel—the 'Eclipse Tower'. It was my fortress, my throne, and the heart of the new world I was building.
I sat on a chair carved from volcanic rock, my 175cm frame draped in a robe of liquid shadows. My two wings—one black, one silver—were folded behind me, but their energy hummed, vibrating through the floor.
"Report," I said, my voice echoing through the throne room.
A holographic map of the city appeared. Zhu, my new tactical commander (a former street orphan I had trained), stepped forward. "Empress, the electricity is stable. The slums are now powered by the Phoenix Heart's residue. But the Global Council... they aren't happy."
"They never are," I smiled, a cold, sharp expression. "What are the 'Heroes' doing?"
"They've sent a 'God-Slayer' team," Zhu whispered, his voice trembling. "Lead by a man called General Kael. He's not a cultivator, Shifa... he's a cyborg. 90% machine, 10% hate."
Suddenly, the heavy doors of the throne room burst open. Xiao Yan walked in, his uniform torn, his face covered in soot. He didn't raise his gun. He looked at me with a mix of awe and terror.
"Li Xian, you have to stop," Yan pleaded, stopping at the base of my throne. "General Kael is five minutes away. He doesn't care about the city. He's going to drop a 'Mana-Bomb' on this tower. Thousands will die just to kill you."
10... 9... 8...
The vision hit me. I saw the sky turn white. I saw the Eclipse Tower melting like wax. But I also saw something else—a hidden frequency in the bomb's core. It wasn't just a bomb; it was a 'Soul-Vacuum' designed to steal the Phoenix Heart back for the Elders.
3... 2... 1...
I stood up, my wings unfurling with a sound like a thunderclap. The silver wing glowed with 'Heroic' light, while the black wing bled 'Villainous' shadows.
"Xiao Yan," I said, walking down the steps until I was inches from him. "You still think the Council wants to save people? They are willing to nuke their own city just to get their toy back."
"I... I didn't know," Yan whispered, dropping to his knees.
"Then watch," I growled. I reached into the air and grabbed a spear made of pure violet lightning. "Zhu, activate the 'Aegis Shield'. Xiao Yan, if you want to be a real Hero, help my people evacuate. I'll handle the 'God-Slayer'."
I walked to the balcony and looked up at the darkening sky. A massive black jet was hovering above, its belly opening to reveal a glowing, blue core.
"General Kael!" I shouted, my voice shaking the very foundations of the tower. "You brought a bomb to a Queen's party? How rude."
I jumped into the sky, my two wings creating a sonic boom that shattered every window in the district. I wasn't running from the explosion. I was going to consume it.
The blue light of the 'Mana-Bomb' reflected in my purple eyes as I soared higher, leaving the skyscrapers of Shanghai beneath me. My silver wing hummed with protective energy, while my black wing crackled with destructive shadows.
"Target locked," a robotic, cold voice boomed from the massive jet above.
Suddenly, a figure plummeted from the aircraft. He didn't have wings; he had jet-thrusters built into his calves and back. General Kael. His 190cm frame was a terrifying mix of chrome and muscle. One of his eyes was a glowing red laser sensor, and his right arm was a heavy-duty plasma cannon.
"Li Xian," Kael's voice was a metallic rasp. "You are an anomaly. A glitch in the system of this world. I am here to delete you."
"Delete me?" I laughed, my voice carried by the wind. "General, I am the OS (Operating System) of this city now. You're just a virus."
Kael didn't waste words. He raised his plasma cannon.
VREEE—BOOM!
A ball of superheated blue energy shot toward me.
10... 9... 8...
The vision showed me dodging to the left, but Kael had predicted that. He had a 'Probability Processor' in his brain. If I moved left, his hidden shoulder-missiles would hit me. If I moved right, the Mana-Bomb would detonate early.
3... 2... 1...
I didn't move left or right. I folded my wings around me like a cocoon and charged straight into the plasma ball.
CRAAA-KOOM!
The explosion was blinding. Kael's sensors probably showed I was vaporized. But as the smoke cleared, I emerged, my black wing glowing with the absorbed heat. I was faster now, fueled by his own attack.
I was in front of him in a blink. My hand, glowing with violet Qi, grabbed his metallic throat.
"Your machines calculate probability, Kael," I whispered, my 175cm frame vibrating with power. "But they can't calculate Willpower."
I slammed him into the side of his own jet, the metal buckling under the impact. At the same time, I reached for the Mana-Bomb with my shadows. Instead of deactivating it, I began to re-program its energy using the 'Phoenix Heart.'
"What... what are you doing?" Kael gasped, his hydraulic systems hissing as he tried to break my grip.
"I'm giving your 'Elders' a gift," I said, a predatory smile on my face. "You brought this bomb to kill my people. Now, I'm sending its energy back to the Xiao Family's secret headquarters."

I punched Kael's chest-plate, shattering the reinforced titanium. Then, I kicked him toward the falling bomb. With a scream of power, I swung my silver wing, creating a portal of pure light.
"Go home, General," I growled.
The bomb and the Cyborg were sucked into the portal, disappearing from the Shanghai sky. Seconds later, a dull thud was felt from the northern mountains—where the Elders' secret base was hidden.
The sky cleared. The threat was gone. I hovered there, breathing hard, as the sun began to rise over the city I had just saved... and conquered
Throne room mein sannata tha. Xiao Yan ab bhi wahan baitha tha, mere thande hathon ko apne garam hathon mein thame hue. Bahar Shanghai ki roshni dhire-dhire wapas aa rahi thi, lekin Eclipse Tower ke andar ek purana raaz jagne wala tha.
"Li Xian," Xiao Yan ne dhire se kaha. "Main tumhare saath us gufa mein chalunga. Agar Great Elder ne kaala jaadu shuru kiya hai, toh wo sirf tumhe nahi, poore Asia ke energy network ko tabaah kar dega."
Maine apni aankhein kholi. Meri purple aankhon mein ab pehle jaisi chamak nahi thi, par unme ek gehra thahrao (calmness) tha. "Tum ek Hero ho, Yan. Agar tumne ek 'Villain' ka saath diya, toh tumhara career, tumhari izzat... sab khatam ho jayega."
Xiao Yan ne muskurate hue apna head-gear (Special Force ka mask) zameen par phenk diya. "Izzat un logo se milti hai jo sahi kaam karte hain, unse nahi jo sirf order maante hain. Aaj se, main tumhara dushman nahi, tumhara Partner hoon."

Achanak, mere dimag mein ek purani memory (yaad) chamki. Maine dekha mere Abba (Imtiyaz) ek purani library mein khade hain. Unke saamne wahi Phoenix Heart tha.
"Shifa," unki awaaz mere kaanon mein goonji. "Ye dil sirf taqat nahi hai. Ye ek 'Key' (Chaabi) hai. Jab 'Hero' aur 'Villain' ek hi maqsad ke liye hath milayenge, tabhi asli darwaza khulega. Humne 10 saal pehle is raaz ko chhupaya tha taaki tum ise sahi waqt par khol sako."
Maine jhatke se apna hath Xiao Yan ke hath se chhuda liya. Meri 175cm ki body ab ek nayi energy se vibrate kar rahi thi. "Yan, mere Abba ne humein milane ke liye ye sab plan kiya tha. Great Elder sirf ek mohra (pawn) hai. Asli dushman koi aur hai jo pichle 10 saalon se shadows mein baitha hai."
"Kaun?" Yan ne hairani se pucha.
Maine balcony ki taraf ishara kiya jahan se dur pahadon mein ek kali roshni nikal rahi thi. "Wo, jo 'Hero' aur 'Villain' dono ko mita dena chahta hai. Use 'The Void' kehte hain."
Maine apne do wings—ek kaala, ek silver—phailaye. Is baar wo alag-alag nahi thay. Wo aapas mein mil rahe thay, ek naya rang bana rahe thay: Royal Gold.
"Yan, taiyar ho jao. Hum gufa mein nahi ja rahe. Hum narak (Hell) ke darwaze par ja rahe hain."
Maine Xiao Yan ka hath pakda aur hum dono ne tower se chhalang laga di. Hum gir nahi rahe thay, hum ud rahe thay—ek naya itihas likhne ke liye.
