Son Goku watched the display of power with wide eyes. Seeing Bulma fighting like a literal Goddess of War, his jaw nearly hit the floor.
"She... she... Bulma even knows how to use the Kamehameha?!"
In the sky, Future Bulma and Cell unleashed their respective Kamehameha waves simultaneously.
BOOM!
The massive torrents of energy collided in mid-air, forming a gargantuan sphere of blinding white and blue light.
It was another classic beam struggle, but this time, the protagonist was Bulma. This was a development that no one could have ever predicted.
After all, the Bulma everyone knew was a "down-to-earth" genius scientist who solved problems with money and technology. This warrior image completely shattered Son Goku's understanding of reality.
"Damn you, woman! Just die already!!!"
Cell continued to flare his Ki, forcing his Kamehameha to swell with power. But it was useless. The gap between him and Future Bulma was simply too wide.
Future Bulma didn't say a word. She merely smirked and increased her energy output.
"HAAAAAAAH—!"
No matter how hard Cell pushed, he could only watch in horror as the Kamehameha was shoved back toward him.
"No!! I can't fall here!! I am Cell!! I won't accept this!!!"
Cell let out a desperate, final scream before he was swallowed by the terrifying blue torrent. The energy wave vaporized him instantly, surging past his remains and rocketing into the upper atmosphere, leaving a long, glowing trail across the sky.
Poor Cell. One moment he thought he was invincible, and the next, he met his Waterloo at the hands of Bulma.
It just goes to show: arrogance leads to a fall. Humility is a virtue for a reason.
With Cell eliminated, present-day Bulma organized a grand banquet at Capsule Corp to celebrate the victory over their latest enemy.
However, during the party, Son Goku kept looking back and forth between the two Bulmas, his thoughts written clearly across his face.
"Hey, Kakarot," Turles called out, narrowing his eyes. "Why don't you go hang out with Vegeta? Stop staring at my Bulma. Our Bulma didn't turn herself into an Android, and Future Bulma isn't going to spar with you. If you want a fight, go find Vegeta!"
Son Goku's shoulders slumped instantly. Was his motive really that obvious?
Vegeta, hearing this, wasn't happy either. "What's that supposed to mean, Kakarot? Are you looking down on me? Do you find fighting me boring now? Come on! Today, I'll show you the true power of Prince Vegeta!"
Vegeta grabbed Goku by the collar, feeling like a scorned lover. He was determined to teach Kakarot a lesson and show him that "Trash-rot" shouldn't take his rivals for granted.
Goku gave Vegeta an awkward look, scratched his head, and eventually followed him as they flew off to some remote wasteland.
Trunks watched them go, looking worried. "Is Mr. Goku going to be okay?"
"Don't worry," Turles replied. "That's just how they are. You'll get used to it."
"I see..." Trunks decided it was better not to follow.
The next day, Trunks stood by the Time Machine, looking at Future Bulma with a trace of sadness. "Mom, are you really staying here?"
Future Bulma smiled gently. "Of course. Your mother deserves to pursue her own happiness, doesn't she?"
As she spoke, her gaze drifted toward Turles.
Trunks looked deeply at Turles for a long moment. "Then... Master Turles... no, Father. I hope you take good care of my mother. I'll be heading back to my own timeline now. They still need me there."
Trunks truly hadn't expected his home to be "raided" like this. His teacher had suddenly become his father. It was... a lot to process.
Turles felt a bit awkward, but he patted Trunks on the shoulder. "Don't worry, Trunks. I'll take care of her. And remember to come back and visit. This place is your home too."
"I understand. Well then... Father, Mother, I'm leaving now."
He hopped into the Time Machine and pressed the ignition. The machine hovered into the air, a flash of white light erupted, and Trunks vanished from the timeline.
Seeing the lingering sadness on Future Bulma's face, Turles pulled her into his arms. "Don't worry. If you miss him, I can take you to see him. Did you forget I can travel through time whenever I want?"
Future Bulma blinked. That's right! Turles could travel between dimensions and timelines at will. If she missed her son, she could just go visit him.
At that moment, the present Bulma walked over, holding Bulla. "Hey, you two! I'm still standing right here, you know!"
Lazuli (Android 18) watched the scene with a hint of envy. Bulma had convinced her to stay and they had talked quite a bit, though she hadn't quite figured out how to explain her presence to Turles yet.
Bulla looked up with wide, curious eyes. "So, does this mean I have two mommies now?"
Future Bulma smiled and took Bulla from her counterpart's arms. "That's right. Bulla will have two mommies from now on. Are you happy?"
Bulla's face stiffened. Two moms? Double the happiness? Or... double the feather dusters when she got in trouble?
"Um... Second Mommy? You won't hit me with a feather duster like Mama does, right?"
Looking at the pitiful little girl, Future Bulma's heart melted. "Of course not. Bulla is much too cute for that..."
Bulla let out a massive sigh of relief. Little did she know that while Future Bulma wouldn't use a feather duster, her fists were much harder. This eventually led to Bulla being far better behaved whenever she was around.
A few days later, Goku suddenly appeared at Capsule Corp, asking to borrow the Dragon Radar.
Turles immediately realized that Dende, the new Guardian of Earth, must have arrived. Since Piccolo had fused with Kami to face the Android threat, the Dragon Balls had turned to stone, but Dende's arrival had restored them.
After handing over the Radar, Turles realized he had almost forgotten about the internal bombs inside Lazuli and her brother.
Once Goku gathered the Dragon Balls, Shenron appeared before the group.
"I am the eternal Dragon. I shall grant three wishes to the one who gathered the balls. Any wish can be fulfilled."
Thanks to Dende's upgrades, the Earth's Dragon Balls now granted three wishes instead of one.
"Shenron!" Goku shouted. "Please revive all the innocent people killed by Cell and the Androids!"
"That wish is simple," Shenron's eyes glowed red. "What is your second wish?"
Goku looked around at the others. Turles stepped forward and spoke. "Shenron, please remove the explosive devices from inside Android 17 and Android 18!"
"It is done. And the final wish?"
Turles thought for a moment. "Strengthen the durability of the Earth to the absolute limit of your power!"
"Your wishes have been granted. Farewell!"
With those words, the Dragon Balls scattered to the four corners of the world. Goku moved like a blur, snatching the Four-Star Dragon Ball out of the air. It was his grandfather's memento, after all.
"Alright, everything is settled. Turles, I'm heading out!"
With a wave, Goku vanished using Instant Transmission. The others also said their goodbyes and flew back to their respective homes.
