"F*ck!" Xiao Shen flinched and subconsciously held out a hand to stop the Jiangshi from coming close.
The hopping zombie vampire was brainless, obviously, as it disregarded him and directly crashed into his palm.

Xiao Shen was immediately sent flying from its immense strength!
[Ah? Did Anchor just get flung back by a mere Jiangshi??]

The sky rumbled, and a silver flash of lightning suddenly appeared, smiting the Jiangshi and turning it black!
"...." Xiao Shen was speechless.
However, he did not dare waste this opportunity!
He immediately took out the strength pill from his pocket and popped it into his mouth.
A sweet nectar like sensation filled his mouth and he involuntarily swallowed. As soon as the pill went down his throat, however, his muscles bulged with explosive energy!
The charred Jiangshi had used quite a bit of it's newly acquired life energy to barely block the sudden lightning bolt and, as such, was desperate to find more food to replenish itself.
When it's master had let it go out and gather energy, he had said that it should only siphon energy off the young and strong. Xiao Shen was young, and, at this moment, was rather strong. It was only natural to be targeted!
It dived at him again in a single hop, but he was unsurprised.
As it approached, he flexed his muscles and punched the vampire zombie right beneath it's jaws.

This time around, the Jiangshi's lower jaw was completely dislocated, flying off into the distance. But, as a creature with no intelligence, it continued to attack him.

Xiao Shen danced around the creature, giving it a jab at every chance he could find.
The poor creature had lost an arm and ribcage, but continuously tried to bite him and suck his life energy, even if it did not have a lower jaw!

His fingers curled as though they were claws and his calves burst with explosive energy. He followed his urges and leapt into the air while waving his palm hard.

Five sharp blades of wind sliced through the air following his hand movements!

The fleeing vampire zombie was directly cut into two!
