25th December 2030, Wednesday.
The aeroplane took off at 3 p.m from New Delhi. Raghav and Arjun sat together while Sankarshana and Aditya sat a bit distant from each other.
"It's amazing!!", Raghav exclaimed as he turned away from the window towards Arjun.
Arjun said, "It's surprising that this is your first time on a plane".
"There'll be more surprises once we reach France", said Raghav with a wink.
Arjun is a year junior to Raghav in College and have been friends with him for the last 3 years. What brought them together was their common passion for neurosciences.
"What's between you and Draupadi ? ", asked Arjun.
"What does it look like from your perspective?", asked Raghav calmly in reply to Arjun's question that came straight out of the blue.
"I think you both are surely into one another", Arjun said hesitatingly.
Raghav chuckled," How are you that sure?"
"You both get along well. You share a strong emotional understanding.", replied Arjun.
"So if I understand Aditya well also, will you say I'm into men or something like that?", asked Raghav.
"No, no. Don't get me wrong. I was just...", Arjun tried to explain before Raghav cut him off. "I was just messing with you, scaredy cat", Raghav smiled.
"The truth is that many people feel silently what you said and that's what differentiates you from others. Also, a girl doesn't only have to be a mother, a sister, a daughter or a wife to have a strong emotional connect. She can be more than that - a best friend", Raghav said with his trademark calm smile.
"Sorry, Krishna. I never meant to demean your relationship", Arjun said with his eyes looking down.
"Chill, you never need to be sorry and all. But, I guess, that "Krishna" and your previous question have same roots", Raghav smiled gleefully.
"What do you mean, man?", Arjun looked puzzled.
"I mean, you and Draupadi, got along well. That's not a thing. But, it's like sooner than I expected. And this question pops out from nowhere", Raghav teased.
"So you think we are in love or something. Don't do this to me", Arjun stammered "Raghav".
"That was the most artificial "Raghav" I've ever heard", Raghav chuckled, "You can call me whatever you like, but just call me also, not alone Draupadi".
Arjun let out a deep sigh.
"Enough of my tease. Get a good sleep. We get to do a lot once we reach France", saying this Raghav turned towards the window.
They landed in Paris at 10 p.m and went straight to a restaurant where Draupadi waited for them all, or is it for Arjun?
"Merry Christmas!", Draupadi screamed as she welcomed the four men.
She hugged Raghav with all her might and then turned towards Arjun. She first went for a hug but switched it into a handshake seemlersly as she heard Sankarshana grunt.
"Krishna, after you finish your medicine school, I think your brother ought to be your first patient", Draupadi laughed sarcastically.
Sankarshana mocked her laugh and turned away. He never gets along with her superficially but follows her deeds as if it was his Bible.
"Where should we sit, madame?", Raghav asked.
"I've got two tables - 502 and 516 - reserved. One for two and the other for three men", Draupadi winked.
"Code word accepted", Raghav thought to himself as he said, "We three will sit together in 516. You can adjust sitting with Arjun, right? Because my brother and Aditya won't eat without me by their sides". "Sounds perfect!", Draupadi said as she took Arjun to their table by his hand.
Everyone sat in their designated places.
"This is why you sat near Arjun in the plane, right? She wanted you to get things right on track for her", Sankarshana continued," And you said Arjun looks like Santa in his 20's in a red suit just to match her colour code".
"Bro, chill. I am not that big of a clever prick. I can't be the reason for a random boy and a random girl falling in love", Raghav chuckled.
"They are not random guys, you little brat. Also, there are 5-membered tables too", Aditya screamed.
"Chill, guys. Your noise is spoiling the Christmas vibe", Raghav said.
Meanwhile, in table 502, Draupadi and Arjun confessed their love for each other, in the most silent way possible, as if they were just discussing about playing golf together.
