Draupadi barged into Raghav's room. She saw two different worlds with quite similar faces, lying on two cots separated by a 4ft of No-man's land.
Raghav was reading a book. Fatherland by Robert Harris. "Such a retrophile", Draupadi thought to herself.
Sankarshana was playing on his PS7. According to him, he's actually testing them to get inspiration for his projects.
Draupadi sat on the latter's cot and screamed, "I've got something to tell".
Sankarshana screamed back, "But please don't yell in here."
Raghav sat up calmly. He said, "I've got something to talk too." He hesitated, "But you should go first" said Raghav as if it was a choice.
Draupadi said, "I'm getting married!!", with a tint of excitement in her eyes.
Raghav said, "But you said you had something to tell right?"
Draupadi said,"This is what I wanted to tell."
Sankarshana said, "I expected something fresh too, bro."
Draupadi looked annoyed when Raghav started talking. "I'm done with my thesis".
"Enlighten us", Draupadi asked.
Raghav went on, "The result is that we can possibly record a person's thoughts as he goes into a trance state due to five days of induced insomnia. The recorder is more or less ready. But the induced insomnia part is still a menace".
Draupadi asked, "What do you call it?".
Raghav replied, "Subconsciousness Altering Recorder - SAR. And I'm gonna announce this to the world next month."
Draupadi asked, seemingly confused, "I need dates."
Sankarshana replied, "He's fixed Christmas eve."
Draupadi said, "What the heck are you guys telling me? I've fixed my marriage on the exact same date. I come to you guys to announce this news and you do this to me!!"
Raghav calmly said, "What's the problem here? The most important events of our lifetimes line up on the same date. It must be a happy news."
Draupadi replied, "I need you around me when I'm getting married. You are the one who brought us together. Can't you postpone it a little? Maybe new year?" Saying this Draupadi landed her hand on his thigh. He quickly shook it off and shouted, "You've got the nerve to say that! Just go and get married girl."
Draupadi walked out of the room angrily. As she crossed the door, she wiped off the drop of tear from her left eye.
"Bro you were too rude", Sankarshana said, turning towards his brother.
"Not more than you", Raghav replied grimly.
"That's me, but this is you, man." said Sankarshana.
