Hage Village, Clover Kingdom.
Right inside the giant demon skull located near the village, a teenager was sitting blankly on a large boulder.
His brown hair was carefully groomed, his golden eyes seemed to glow, and his face was extremely handsome; his appearance was not bad at all, or rather, it was very beautiful.

Brian didn't remember exactly why he was reincarnated into the familiar Black Clover world he knew from his previous life. He only remembered seeing two sources of light so dazzling they could make one blind, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in the form of a newborn baby inside a cradle.
Not long after, Brian also realized he was in the Black Clover world, only that this world did not have the protagonist of the story, Asta.
Asta did not appear at the church in Hage village as in the story; that child without magic power did not exist here.
Initially, Brian thought he had just reincarnated into Asta's body, or what is called possession. But when he saw his brown hair and golden eyes, along with a strange energy inside his body, he understood that he was not reincarnated as Asta.
Without Asta, Brian didn't know where the Black Clover world would go; what he knew now was that he had become the replacement for Asta in this strange yet familiar world.
Brian just lived and stayed at the church in Hage village like that for 15 years; his life was not very wealthy, but he didn't have to suffer from hunger or much deprivation.
He had a place he could call home in this world, a small family despite having no blood relation, and most importantly, a soulmate, Yuno.
"Hey, Brian!"
A familiar voice rang in Brian's ear even though no one was near him.
Brian's eyes opened slightly; he felt a light breeze blowing towards him from outside.
"Sister Lily told me to call you back for dinner, come back quickly."
Brian did not reply to that voice; he let out a laugh and then gently jumped down from the rock he was sitting on. His hand rose slightly, and immediately a floating rock appeared under his feet, looking like a surfboard made of earth.
Stepping onto the thing that had just risen from the ground, Brian slowly moved outside by using magic power to make it move forward.
As soon as he glided out of the giant demon's skull, Brian also saw the owner of the voice that had just called him back, who was also his best friend, Yuno.
"Since when did you learn how to transmit sound like this?"
Brian stood balanced perfectly on the surfboard made of earth and asked.
Yuno stood opposite Brian; he was a black-haired, golden-eyed teenager, with a handsome face not inferior to Brian's.
"Just recently."
Yuno replied with a steady voice, "It was also thanks to your suggestion that I knew my Wind Magic could be used like that."
Brian nodded, as if agreeing with Yuno's thanks. Not long ago, Brian had suggested to Yuno about using wind as a tool to transmit voice far away, helping Yuno communicate with Brian at a long distance.
Even though he was only given the idea by Brian, Yuno had quickly experimented and then succeeded in transmitting sound through his Wind Magic. Although some types of magic or magic devices could do it at a farther distance than Yuno could, this was still an achievement very much worth celebrating.
"Let's go back."
Brian looked at Yuno, and the other person also looked at him. And as if both shared the same thought, the two immediately ran back to the church with the fastest speed they could manage.

Two figures dashed forward extremely quickly. Brian moved with the surfboard-shaped rock under his feet, while Yuno moved by controlling the wind to lift his body into the air and fly away.
The two did not look at each other; in just a few minutes, Brian and Yuno were present at the church in Hage village. Both of their faces were now slightly flushed; clearly, these two had used their magic power continuously and extremely much throughout the whole way.

Brian cursed, "Magic attribute is not something easily ignored when fighting."
Yuno heard Brian complain like that and looked at the other person; he could see Brian exhaling a weary breath.
Yuno had returned to the church a short time before Brian, but compared to Brian, Yuno clearly knew that he had consumed much more magic power than the other.
If his attribute was not the Wind system, then the winner of the small race just now would certainly not have been him.
"Anyway, this is my forte."
Yuno opened his mouth and said, "Your Earth Magic doesn't have any advantage compared to the speed of Wind Magic, in return, your defensive ability overwhelms mine."
