Lavenia's POV
I've arrived at the pack's border and am waiting for Anita to show up. It's been ten minutes, and for someone who's always on time like me, ten minutes is precious.
If she's late, then the chance to talk longer will be gone.
"Calm down, Lav... it's only been ten minutes," said Snow. "At least you'll get the chance to find out a secret you've never known."
Yes, Snow was right. Soon I'll find out if it's true—that Rayden is my older brother—or if I heard wrong. If it isn't, that would be much better.
If it's true, that means Rayden has had bad intentions toward me from the start.
Is that why Dad didn't want me to get close to him? Because he is my older brother?
Or...
"I hope what you're thinking isn't true," Snow said again.
"What if it is?" I asked. "You're putting too much hope in him. What if Rayden really is my brother? I don't want to be disappointed."
"Then who do you think you should choose?"
