Lavenia's POV
"Miss Howls, meet me in my office during the break between classes," Hero said, and I just nodded. He must want to hand me the scholarship application form he promised.
However, when I arrived at his office, he suddenly pulled me into an embrace, and even though I struggled and tried to break free, he wouldn't let go.
So I let him hold me tightly, and he released me only after he was satisfied with what he'd done.
"Let's have a seat," he commanded softly. "Tell me, has Rayden been treating you well?"
I looked at him deeply.
I thought Hero was the only possessive one among the four alphas who'd slept with me; I never expected Rayden to be just as terrifying as Hero—even more. Or maybe they all share the same possessive nature.
Of course, except for Dr. Lane. He probably only thought of me as his mate because of his ego—he couldn't stand seeing another alpha pursue me.
He doesn't need me; he just wants to see how much he can make me need him.
