Lavenia's POV
"You're free to come back to my pack or stop by whenever you like. It's even good if you stay—this is your place, anyway," Rayden said as he dropped me off at campus.
I nodded, and after he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead, without waiting for him to leave, I turned and hurried off to class.
Today's class is Feature Writing. The pretty strict female professor was already sitting at the front of the classroom, and when I walked in, her sharp gaze fixed on me.
"You're late, Miss Howls," she said, casually, yet sharply.
Yeah, I was less than five minutes late, and she was already making a fuss about it.
"Sorry, Ma'am. I have to take care of something before I'm here," I sat down in one of the seats. Next to me sat a girl I'd never seen before; she extended her hand and spoke to me in a half-whisper.
"Hey... nice to meet you, I'm Celia Jansen." I took her outstretched hand and shook it. "What's your name?" she asked.
