[3rd POV]
A few more days had passed since the decision was made regarding what song that Billie was going to sing at the Ellen Show. During those few days, Billie had mostly spent the time working on the song, getting some preparations ready for the show itself, and a few other things.
Those other things were mostly talking with a few important folk about something she wanted to do in the future.
A tour.
She wanted to do a tour around the United States. She wanted to go to most of the major cities. So, Seattle, New York, Chicago, Detroit, LA, Miami, Houston, places like that.
IIt was more so the timing that made it a little annoying. As there was a lot she had to do before then, like getting the venues for the concerts. Buying out the stadiums that would no doubt be filled would cost millions and millions of dollars.
On top of that, it wasn't going to even happen until after the release of the new album. But she needed to start preparing for it beforehand, so that they have enough time to get tickets for the shows and all that.
That and she would need to hire people, make the site to sell the tickets, and a lot of other things that would all add up to cost a shit ton of money, and take a lot of time. But it would be worth it in the end.
She decided that she'd announce the tour on the Ellen Show, and would start selling tickets at the start of the new year. Then she'd spend a couple of months on the tour, give or take a couple of weeks.
It'd be a US tour only for now. Maybe she'd go off into Europe in the future, but she didn't really want to. That and a vast majority of her popularity came from North America, particularly the US and Canada.
It was like 75% of her fans if she remembered correctly. A lot of them, so it was more worth it to start out there then do Europe in a future tour.
This was mostly because it would make it a lot easier on her, not to mention cheaper. She still had to work on choreography and really make her shows special. And she needed a lot of work in order to properly do that.
Over these few days, she had also talked to Haley about the potential tour that she was planning on going on. It had been an...interesting conversation, considering she was going to be gone for a couple of months, once she did the tour.

[Flashback]
"So you want to go on a tour around the US?" Haley asked as she sat across from Billie. They were out at a cafe that Billie frequented. It was one of the few that had private booths and did not bring about any chances of them being found.
This was mostly because Billie was the one that owned the cafe, and most other businesses in the area. The cafe, the nearby bookstore, the nearby arcade, and a few dozen other shops in the surroundings.
She had a LOT of small businesses under her control. So many that she was not even sure how many she had. Only that it was over a hundred, and was mostly dealt with by her accountants, at least when it came to taxes it was.
"Yep. I've already written up a list of places I want to go" Billie replied, as she brought out a piece of paper and handed it to her girlfriend. Haley raised an eyebrow, before looking down at it and beginning to read.
As she read, Billie noticed her girlfriend's facial expression changing with every city she read that Billie wanted to go to.
By the end of it, Haley was glancing from the paper to her.
"You really want to go to all of these places? That's...a lot of cities, babe. Not to mention the fact that some of them are...not really the nicest. Cause like...isn't Detroit known for being unsafe?" Haley asked.
She wasn't trying to be mean or anything, but she truly had no idea about other cities, at least nothing more than what she had seen on tv and stuff like that. She had lived in LA her entire life, and had only been to other states a handful of times.
"That's only if you go to the unsafe areas, Haley. I'm not going to host the concert in any unsafe areas, I'm not dumb enough to do that. And even if I did, I'd have more than enough security to take care of any problems that could arise" Billie explained.
Haley stared at her for a few more moments, before nodding slowly in understanding.
"I guess that makes sense. But how long is the tour going to last if you're going to all these places? There's like 20 cities on here" Haley asked, as she handed the paper back to Billie.
"I expect it to last a month or two, most likely. And during that time-" "Can I come with you?" Haley cut her off, as Billie was preparing to warn her about not being home for a while.
Billie stopped when she heard her girlfriend's words. Looking at her in surprise.
"You...you want to come with me?" Billie asked, eyes slightly wide.
"Mmhmm, why wouldn't I? It's not like I'm going to be going to College. And I'm sure I can graduate early if I time it right. And thanks to your help, it shouldn't be that hard. Plus it'd be fun! To go around the US on tour with you, even if I'm not going to sing or anything" Haley responded with a bright gleam in her eyes, the idea sounded really interesting.
She was hoping that Billie thought the same.
"...I don't know babe. I'd love for you to come with me, but what about your family? You know how they can sometimes be, are you really sure that they'll be willing to let you travel the country with me for two months, maybe even longer?" Billie asked.
"That...is a good point. But...I really really want to, Billie. I want to travel the world with you, and I really don't want to be separated from you for two months. I guess I'll just have to talk to my parents, and try to get them to let me come with you" Haley responded, a resolute gleam in her eyes.
She was pretty certain of her decision to go with Billie. Now she just needed to get approval from her parents.
"...Alright. If you can get your parents to sign off on it, you can come with. And since you'll be eighteen by then, we won't need to worry about the legal parts of it" Billie replied, as Haley beamed.
Since she got Billie's approval, now she just needed her parents.

[Flashback End]
Billie had no idea if she had gotten it yet, but she had a feeling that she'd be talking to Claire quite extensively once she got to their house, which she was now driving to.
It was Thanksgiving! And it was being held at the Dunphy house, with Claire insisting on hosting it this year, since Billie had already confirmed that she'll host Christmas.
This was going to be her first holiday with Haley's family, so she was really hoping it went well.
With that in mind, Billie leaned back in her driver seat, driving through the streets of LA towards the home of the Dunphys, one thought on her mind as she did so.
'Lets see what a Dunphy Thanksgiving looks like!'
