Day,weeks and years went by as Queen esarosa raised the child that was given to her by Kai crimson the calamity of the west. She raised the boy like any mother would she taught him about morals,integrity,friends and finally how to protect himself in this cruel world of their's.
Queen esarosa stood before Kai esarosa a light brown skinned boy with deep brown eyes,thin lips, thick eyebrows,a thin nose and long long black braided hair that stop at his waist, the boy was covered in white wolf skin the traditional attire of the house of esarosa which is a beast men mythical creature race.
QUEEN ESAROSA examined Kai for a few seconds and with a soft, slow eloquent tone spoke
" For the last fourteen years you have been taught on how to behave like a royal, how to speak,eat,write and even walk like one, now child I will teach you about the supernatural part of this world and everything you should know about it, so you must memorize everything i will be telling you now it will be useful for you someday."
"Yes i understand mother and don't worry I have a very sharp memory"
Kai esasrosa Said with glowing eyes and a smile filled with excitement
" Good then now let my start by telling you about the profane. In this world little one we have deranged blood craving humans,monsters and mythical creatures that we call the profane these monsters,humans and mythical creatures have been taken over by entities of the abbys a forbidden high level danger zone that has been sealed of by the Divine God's of our world none knows where exactly it is located since it was sealed by the Gods,and Yes we do have living breathing Gods in our world but all of them are in their own divine realms or kingdoms as we call it. We don't now the origin of these entities that come from the abbys but one thing that we do know is that they cannot live in this world without a vessel that is why they forcefully take over the bodies of humans,monsters,and mythical creatures and walk amongst us but in taking over our bodies the gain flaws and that is madness, bloodlust and a putrid smell every profane being has it they reek of rotting flesh and sulfur, they cannot speak like we do they cannot control themselves when the meet someone who is untouched by profanity they will try kill you and one commonality they all have is deep black abyssal eyes that show no reflection if you look into them you will see nothing but darkness but something that few people know is that there are some profane beings with intelligence they don't have any putrid smell they can communicate with others and they are extremely cunning and strong unlike the others..
Kai looked at Queen esarosa with wide open eyes and fear evident on his face
"If they are such terrible things in our world mother than why isn't everyone infected by profanity how do we protect ourselves from it and how do we kill the profane."
Queen esarosa smiled at Kai and pointed at herself and at the silver crescent moon emblem hanging from Kai's neck
" That is simple my presence and that emblem around your neck protects us in this kingdom"
Kai looked at the silver crescent moon emblem that hangs around his neck in shock and at his mother in shock
" Explain I don't understand what you mean by that, I know that this emblem around my neck represent the God that we worship in this kingdom how does it protect us from profanity and how do you protect us from profanity"
Queen esarosa puffed up her plump chest and with a grin on her on her face spoke
" oh that is easy it's because your mother is cool and strong, haha haha"
" come on mother be serious I know that you are cool and strong since you are the Queen."
"Okay,Okay, since you recognize my strength and coolness i will be serious, that emblem around your neck is a holy artifact that was given to us the believers of our Goddess heavenly lady silvermoon herself for protection against profanity as long as you wear it no profanity shall taint your soul, but all you should is that it works and every region and kingdom has they own holy artifact given by their divine god for the sole purpose of fighting profanity, i cannot explain how the holy artifacts are made and with what they are made of to fight profanity , because i am no god but one thing I can properly explain is myself the reason i said my presence protects this kingdom from profanity is because I am a saint I have unimaginable power that could destroy a entire kingdom if i so wish and the weak and strong profane beings can sense my strength through the aura that i constantly release everyday to ward of any malicious beings,monsters,mythical creatures and humans that come close to my kingdom. You see so I was not joking when i said i was cool and strong."
"Mhh Okay mom I get it you are cool and strong but how does one become a saint when can I become one"
"Haha haha haha that is quite ambitious of you little one, not everyone can reach my tier boy and live for thousand of years most die without even coming close to sainthood even in this western region their are about only 6 saint and their are all rulers of their kingdoms but if you are fated to become one you might reach it but enough about saint's we will talk about that another time. One of the important things that you will need to know is the path of lehem we gain powers by walking down the path that lehem took a hundred million years ago in the blood red war era where lehem pleaded with a God for strength and was granted a way to achieve supernatural powers that helped him fight the profane,monster and evil mythical creatures that threatened to destroy his race and the five regions now today every living being in the five regions are practitioners of the path of lehem, to become a lehem practitioner you have to gather five ingredients and concot a potion and these ingredients are found in the five regions they are a thousand year old scaled venomous flower, heavenly rain,blood of a orange colored and blue eyed phoenix,the roots of a bleeding eternal mother tree and bright green leafs of a father tree.We also have what we call true forms, a person's true form depends on they bloodline if you are a descendant of a ancient beign you will take on their form when you transform and for instance I'm the descendat of the crescent moon worshiper the majestic Gaint white wolf Aliyana so when I transform I'm a majestic gaint wolf that towers below the heavens, now to awaken ones true form you have to collect the blood of the creature that you will transform into and its skin and mix them with a hundred year old blood devouring tree grinded root after that you will gain a true form with its innate magical abilities. Now the last thing you must know is the different ranks we have in the path of lehem that i know about from first tier to sixth tier lehem practitioner namely first tier-Blood warrior,second tier-illuminated soul,third tier-Soul and body intergration ,fourth tier- Ascendant,fifth tier-lone walker,sixth tier- saint,to get these names you have to complete a apotheosis for each but all of this you will do later for now we have to awaken you as a lehem practitioner."
Queen Esarosa turned away from Kia and walked towards a cabinet where a golden Chalice with with two gems imbued in it which were black and white, in the chalice was a dark substance squirming inside of it, Queen Esarosa picked up the chalice and went infront of Kia again.
" Now i will give you a choice little one you can stay just like you are ignorant of the brutal way of lehem, never knowing danger, never knowing the fear profane beigns wanting your life or you can awaken like me and your late father and be a protector a guiding light a walker of the path of lehem. Now what will it be my son."
Kai looked at the squirming dark substance in the golden chalice and back at his mother with a smile
" Of course I want to be like you mother let me experience the path that you and my father walked"
"Sigh,i hoped you would say no son,you should also know not everyone can survive awakening some die on the spot that is why the way to awaken is kept a secret only a select few are alway chosen to awaken."
Queen esarosa took out a snow white dagger that was on her waist and took Kai's left palm opened a vertical wound on it after doing that she put the chalice below the bleeding palm as the blood of Kai as the blood of Kai dripped into the dark substance it stirred and quickly entered the open wound on Kai's palm as this happened a loud scream escaped Kai's mouth and he fell onto the floor , the moment the substance entered in his hand it quickly spread throughout his whole body devouring his blood, his veins bulged all over his body as he was in excruciating pain as his skin started to burst open all over his body and blood pouring out of his eyes,ears,nose and mouth like rainwater on stormy day, at the same time his under his skin maggots started to form as these maggots were form green caterpillars suddenly developed form the dark substance in the chalice and entered the wound on his palm hastily devouring every single maggots after that the caterpillars covered his whole body and fused with him as this was happening a dark black light suddenly illuminated his body and and his wounds closed and the caterpillars disappeared as they were fully fused with him. Queen Esarosa looked at Kai with fear in her eyes frozen in place unmoving unable to say anything, After a few seconds of looking at Kai with fear she regained control of her body, she slowly walked before Kai helped him up from the floor and stared at him for awhile."
"What mom why are you looking at me like that did i fail because I don't feel any different."
" Sigh, no you didn't fail it's just that the potion should not have entered into your hand nor should it have done what it just did, we should have just put in your blood in the potion after that you would have drank it and fell unconscious for three day if three day passed and you were still unconscious we would know that you failed to awaken and died."
"What?, then what just happend to me right know don't tell me I went through that for nothing."
Queen Esarosa examined Kai from head to toe and shook her head
" no you did not fail you have awaken, it's just that you are abnormal just like your father but he went through the same process like me and everyone else when awakening, but i guess you are just a different abnormal than your father, and you won't feel anything when you first awaken you will have to learn techniques and and meditate to discover your innate abilities."
"Oh, so that is why I do not feel any difference."
"Yes, but if you were to punch a wall right now it would burst open just from one punch and if you were to run against a stallion right now you would outrun it like it was a turtle and normal sword or dagger can do nothing against your skin."
After hearing these words Kai looked at Queen Esarosa with joy evident on his face
"That is amazing mother"
"That is good get used to your body tonight because tomorrow you training begins."
