After Amilia and Sky rested for a few hours the chieftain of the blood lake forest stepped into the middle of the courtyard and looked directly at Kia and slightly bowed, as she bowed murmures could be heard in the crowd. " Why would the blood lake chieftain continously bow to this boy, is he maybe a member of a great house, no it cannot be he is not wearing any of the great houses clothes or sigils on him and if he was we would already know about him, i have not even seen him in the academy, he probably is not from here, maybe he is from the outer settlements of our kingdom" As the mummers spread throughout the courtyard, Amilia and Sky were examining the fifteen year old boy with light brown skin, black haired, deep brown eyes, a thin nose, thin pinkish mouth,a lean build, 5'9 feet tall, he was wearing a black wolf fur coat
that began from his shoulder covering his arms and back ,while his front side from his neck to his waist is fully exposed revealing smooth skin with a six pack that looks like it was carved onto a statue, from his waist down he wore black pants and no shoes, but his feet were spotless no dirt on them.
" Amilia who do you think he is, is he maybe a trainee or a member of one of the the great houses."
"Mhh, maybe but i doubt that if he was from the great houses we would have know about him long ago, he is probably a new student in the academy from the outer settlements."
As Amilia and Sky spoke to each other Kia walked towards them unfazed and looked at the chieftain examining her from top to bottom.
Mhh there are truly a lot of beautiful women in this kingdom Master Ivar was not lying when he said our kingdom produce magnificent ladies young and mature alike, maybe I should also try to sample her, No she probably will kill me on the spot, if i tried anything since she will not be convinced by my handsomeness with that cloth covering her eyes ,Kai thought to himself as he came before the chieftain.
The blood lake chieftain looked with at Kia and smiled.
" I may not have eyes, but i have very good hearing" the chieftain said while pointing at her small delicate ears, Kai looked at her with a opened mouth and wide open eyes.
"What you heard that, so everything I have been.." Before Kia could finish his sentence the chieftain interrupted him.
"No need to worry you thoughts are safe with me, now let us begin these duels which one will you pick first for your duel."
" I want both of them, I mean i will take on both of them at the Sametime,but we wil only be using weapons and fists I don't know how to fight with magical abilities or whatever they used in their battle against one another"
After saying that kai smiled and looked innocently at the girls standing behind the blood lake chieftain. Amilia stepped forward followed by Sky and stood infront of Kai.
" I like this one, you are a interesting fellow you want both of us you say, I don't know about her but now you have piqued my interest i want you too, do you think you can satisfy my hunger boy?"
Amelia spoke as she naughtly grinned at Kia while eyeing him up and down. Sky's cheeks turned pink as she was blushing from Amilia's words.
" Yes I want him too, no I mean I want to fight him too as well to see why he thinks he can take both of us on."
So mother was wrong when she said I should only learn combat and decorum from Ivar everything else except that i should ignore, girls really do use sexual innuendos when speaking wow it will truly be easy to sample No,no,no mother said I should be a gentleman and not be lustful like uncle Ivar, Kai pondered.
"Good if you are all in agreement you may begin your fight"
The blood lake chieftain looked at Kia and internally sighed,it seems he was trained by Ivar what a pity he seems to have picked up his bad habits how could he even have such thoughts infront of me while knowing i can hear them,the chieftain pondered while shaking her head.
Kai walked towards a table filled with weapons and picked up a silver double edged claymore sword and walked infront of the the girls and got in a fight stance with his sword in his right hand. Amilia and Sky held their weapons and sprinted towards Kia before the could reach him Kia suddenly turned around and ran towards a wall with Sky and Amilia chasing behind him.
"Tsk,What is he a coward why would he run away, so all that big took was for nothing"
Amilia said to Sky as they were chasing after Kia before Sky could answer Kai suddenly jumped into the air and bounced of the wall infront of him performing a backflip with a smile on his face as he landed behind them and swung at the back of Sky's head with the back of his sword with full force, Bam! the back of the sword connected opening a wound on her head fracturing her skull and blood flew out of her,Sky fell knees first onto the ground as she became dizzy and her vision blurred,before Kai could do land the same blow on Amilia she instinctively lunged foward ducked, turned around and raised her Halberd blocking Kai's claymore that was aimed at her chest while her back was facing the wall.
"Mhh, to think you fell for my ruse Amilia."
"Yes, it was careless of me to chase you when you willingly chose to face us, since you know my name my i have the pleasure of knowing yours."
" oh, how rude of me I forgot to introduce myself I am Kai."
" Kai, good well Kai i won't be carless anymore."
After saying that Amilia stopped defending and took the initiative pushing Kai back with every swing that she took with her halberd, Kai dodge with his head left and right as the tip of Amilia's halberd continously missed his head, clank, clank, clank steel rung as steel collided against each other as Amilia and Kia simultaneously attacked and defended, Amilia lifted her halberd once agian aiming at Kia chest as the halberd was about to reach him Kai lunged forward dodging the strike and holding the halberd at its handle with his left hand and pulled at it forcefully pulling Amilia towards him.Clank steel rung as he dropped his sword onto the floor and formed a fist, Bam! Kia landed his fist right between Amilia's eyes and blood dripped out of the wound between her eyes caused by Kai's fist and her head jerked back as she fell onto the ground losing consciousness. Kai looked at his palm closing and opening it for a few seconds.
Mhhh so it seems i did gain tremendous physical strength in my awakening, Kai thought to himself as he was examining his hand. Silence was evident in the courtyard as people stared at Kia with disbelief in their eyes, as he walked towards Sky who was kneeling on the ground with her vision clearing up before she could even react she saw a silhouette of a person standing above her as she lifted her head to look at her opponent, Kai suddenly lifted his right leg and with a hard kick to the side of Sky's head knocked her unconscious. Kai looked at the unconscious girls infront of him and slightly bowed and spoke.
" Thank you for the duel and sorry my teacher taught me to never show any mercy even when sparring."
After saying those words Kia turned around and bowed to the blood chieftain and spoke
Once agian.
"Chieftain i have won this duel, now if you would excuse me i have to go and meet my mother."
" I understand you may leave, you have won your duel."
Mhh why does he have such a angry expression on his face the blood lake chieftain though to herself as examined kai's face.
Kai slowly exited the training courtyard and headed towards the his mother's castle after waking for awhile he reached the castle and entered into the throne room where the Queen sat on her throne wearing a white fur coat and beside her stood her majestic royal advisor and protector Ivar with his long golden hair, gold eye, a buff body filled with muscles,standing 8 feet tall surrounded by white wolfs. Kai stood before the stairs leading up to the throne and bowed at his mother and uncle and spoke.
" Mother, uncle we need to speak privately." Queen Esarosa and Ivar looked at each other in puzzlement and looked back at Kai once again and at the guards inside the throne room.
"Guards go stand guard outside the throne hall."
The guards followed her order and stood outside the throne hall.
"So what do you want happened little one."
" You told me to get used to the improvements the awakening potion made in my body so i went around town testing my newly gained eyesight,hearing and by chance i came upon a training courtyard as i was watching some girls duel, I then decide to test my new strenght on them and as i defeated them and they lay there unconscious I got the urge to take their lives and devour their souls as a voice was reverberating in my head telling me to consume what i defeat as a sign of honor."

Kai smiled sheepishly and looked at Ivar who nodded at him with a smile.
"Really, I have always wanted to go to the blood lake forest, but mom i do not know how to devour a person's soul so how will I complete the apotheosis."
"Don't worry it will naturally come to you when you start the first part of the apotheosis now go and get ready to hunt profane monsters in the blood lake forest."
