"Why? It's your marriage, your family must be present here too", Edward said simply on which George nodded saying, "I understand that but in the name of family I only have a little sister Nancy and a caretaker Aunt Mia".
"It's totally alright George call them only and also we are all are your family too now so don't fell disheartened", Ava said in comforting manner and George smiled politely on that.
"Okay I will inform them", George said and everyone sat on their places but Alex insisted on playing so Alice and Jacob took him to him play room, Now only Ava, Edward and George were sitting, George had a question in the back of his head but he was hesitant.
Ava being good observer noticed it quickly and politely said, "George if you have anything to ask then you can surely go ahead, don't be hesitant about it, we are family afterall", hearing her polite assurance George nodded.
"It's actually when Alex was crying he said something for Alice like she went away last time and didn't came for six months, what was it about"? George asked curiously but frowned when he got silence in return, he quietly observed both Ava and Edward who looked sad.
"So Alice didn't tell you anything about her past, I am not even surprised that she didn't tell you cuz she kept her past secret from us too that too for two months", Edward said sighing sadly as he recalled the past.
George was confused as fuck he somewhere knew that Alice had something going in her life which is keeping her from opening her heart but hearing Edward his confusion deepened as he asked, "Can you tell me what really happened to Alice that she stayed away from you guys for six months".
"I will tell but just don't let Alice know that I told you, she will think you are pitying her or seeing her differently after knowing her past and also it's not her fault, she didn't do anything wrong,and also if you judge her on the basis of her past, I won't let you marry her, my sister is too precious for me", Ava said as she got little emotional recalling the things Alice has suffered.
George was totally dumbfounded, man was actually concerned, scared and was loosing his shit, what the heck has even happened to his heaven in her past that Ava is getting this emotional recalling it, he has to know and one thing he is determined that whatever the past is he is not going to leave his heaven, she is his life.
"I will never judge her about anything, it's her past, it all happened when I was not in her life, I don't know what actually happened and I am assuring you both even before knowing what happened that I will not give up or will not leave Alice at any cost ", George firmly stated and Ava sighed in relief hearing him.
"Alice has always been bubbly girl, she loves fun, teasing,actually you see Alex, he is her second copy, Alice has always been helping people around her which backfired on her, a year back, we went on a family trip, Alice actually was really busy with her cafe renovation work so she didn't come with us,
We were out in Switzerland for like two and a half week, when we come back I got to know something which made me shock to core, Sofi, she is Alices' best friend she is a psychiatrist, she told me that someone forced himself on Alice but she thankfully made her way out of that situation in time before anything worse can happen,

That guy couldn't handle her rejection, when Alice was in her cafe working alone, and making ideas for renovation, it was actually midnight and he broke into the cafe and tried to molest her, my Alice is actually a strong girl so she fought with him, she hit his head with with a big flowers vase and called the cops, the guy was not even in proper condition to get up but still his obsession and craziness was so over the board that he even tore her sleeves,
Before things could go wrong cops arrived on time and arrested that asshole, but before going he threatened Alice that he will come back to take her with him and won't leave anyone alive who even think of getting close to her, Alice was terrified because of whatever happened, she lost her consciousness because of panic and excess stress, she was hospitalized for three days as she got panic attack after telling everything that happened to her to Sofi,
Alice stayed at Sofis' place till we came back, Alice told Sofi to not let anyone know what happened in my absence, but her pale skin, her constant flinching at foreign touch was obvious that something really wrong happened, when I was actually fed up by the silence of Alice I confronted Sofi, she told me everything,
That day I felt so bad and disappointed on myself as a sister I should have been with her, my baby sister suffering everything alone was terrifying to watch, it was hard to see her waking up in the middle of night, screaming, yelling and sobbing, Alice has her own apartment in Brooklyn but she stays with me on my request, she stayed at her apartment for six months cuz she wanted alone time, we frequently used to visit her,
Alex cried the same way he cried today when he got to know that Alice is going to stay at her apartment, Alice didn't comfort him that time cuz she was too much caught up in her own traumas to even notice her surrounding, She still takes therapy because of that incident, Andrew husband of Sofi he is her psychologist, Alice came back to stay with us five months back,
She still gets nightmares but not that much, she is slowly healing, she never talks about her past at it actually triggers her trauma and doctors have suggested that she should not have any other panic attack as it might be risky for her life, she till now has experienced two major panic attacked, one at the hospital and one when I asked her what was wrong and why she is being this distant,
We don't talk about her past so that she won't suffer, the only reason why I want her to move forward and forget everything is not because she is burden to me but I actually want her to be safe and protected, the kind of thing that only a lover, a husband, a partner can provide, that's why I arranged the blind date for her, I didn't know that she is dating you,

George had his fist clenched all the time when he listened to what Ava said, he felt his blood boiling hearing his heavens past, he felt so bad and guilty and also frustrated that why he had to meet his heaven this late, if he was in her life that time he wouldn't let her suffer at all.
"I assure you with my life that I won't let my heaven suffer anymore, I will always protect her and will be by her side till the day I am alive, and no one will even date to take her from me, they have to face me before even getting to touch her strand of hair, This is George Walkers words", George said determined.
"So Alice suffered this much and none of you even thought of letting me know ", all the three people in the living room turned when they heard it, their was Jacob standing with unknown expressions.
