Chapter 15 - SMACK ON THE BALLZ

Silas turned out from the parking lot and wondered what punishment he should give Viktor when he gets home.

The Cullens on the other hand were not so leisurely, they were sitting quietly in the car, all lost in thought.

A weird transfer student, Edwards mate, and an unknown vampire.

There were a lot of variables.

The only one who was less worried was Alice. She was thinking about the earlier art class, a slight smile on her lips.

Then she thought of the aura Jasper had felt, and frowned.

An unknown vampire could be dangerous and cause a lot of trouble.

Just as Silas rounded the small hill his house entered his view.

He parked in front and walked in, as he entered the living room, Viktor was seated there.

"Master, welcome home!"

Silas frowned.

"Why did you follow me to the school?"

Viktor hesitated.

"Just in case you needed something master… being close would mean I could help you faster."

"I didn't ask you to, did I?"

Viktor lowered his head.

"No, master."

Hmm. Silas nodded.

"You just got discovered by one of the Cullens as you left."

Viktor looked up in surprise.

"No! That's impossible! I was very careful… just them shouldn't be able to find me."

Silas shook his head.

"Don't underestimate the Cullens just because they are so called `vegetarians`."

"It was Jasper that found you, and he had sensed your aura before during lunch aswell."

Viktor lowered his head.

"I'm sorry master."

Silas nodded.

"You'll get no blood bags for 3 days as punishment."

Viktor nodded dejectedly.

Forks.

The Cullen house.

"We're home." Emmett said as he walked through the door, with Rosalie in the tow.

Close behind was the rest of the Cullens.

They walked in and all pooled towards the living room.

Esme and Carlisle entered the living room and saw that the entire family was seated around.

???

"Why are you all gathered here?" Carlisle asked. Usually they would spread out upon returning home.

They all looked at each other as if to see who would start talking.

"I have found my mate." Edward said.

Esme looked happy.

"So? How was she?"

Emmett chuckled.

"He doesn't know, he never spoke to her, just started and looked like a creep."

Edward furrowed his brows at the words.

"No. She's not only my mate."

They looked at him in unison.

"She's also my singer, I could barely control myself from killing her."

They looked at him, gazes with pity and sympathy overflowed the room.

Having your mate being your singer… can't be a nice thing.

Carlisle looked at Edward and said.

"You should probably take a few days to go to Alaska and cool off for a few days, get a good grip."

The rest of the Cullens nodded. Edward lowered his head and nodded as well.

Then Carlisle turned his attention back to the rest.

"But this shouldn't make you all gather, right?"

Rosalie took the lead.

"There is a weird transfer student at school, besides Bella."

Carlisle and Esme looked at each other. Weird by their standards? Their interest was piqued.

"Weird how?"

Rosalie frowned.

"Jasper and Edwards' abilities don't work on him."

"They just return gibberish."

Carlisle looked surprised, so did Esme.

"Doesn't work how? What do you mean with gibberish?"

Jasper stepped forward to clarify. And Edward chipped in his own experiences.

A rare frown formed on Carlisle's face.

"That is quite strange…"

"Is there anything else?"

Rosalie stepped forward again.

"He also learns fast, Alice saw him learn to pain right before her eyes."

Carlisle looked at Alice with a questioning gaze.

"Yes, it's true." Alice said, but quickly followed up with.

"But I don't think he is… bad, he seems nice."

Emmett nodded.

"Yes, I talked to him during math, and we quickly bonded, he's now my good brother."

Rosalie rolled her eyes. Again with this brother crap.

"Your `good brother` ignored you during lunch."

Emmett quickly defended.

"He just didn't see, he was looking the other way."

Just as they were about to start banter.

Carlisle said.

"It sounds a little strange… but it should be nothing, just be extra careful and observe."

Then he looked at the group.

This time Jasper spoke up.

"I also felt the aura of a vampire sneaking around the school… he seemed to be observing."

Carlisle narrowed his eyes.

"Are you sure?"

"Quite positive."

Carlisle was lost in thought.

"That's quite troublesome, if that vampire starts feeding in town… or on students, it could expose us."

"So, what should we do?"

Carlisle shook his head.

"There isn't much we can do, be on the lookout, be careful when out hunting, preferably don't move alone."

"We can't just start hunting him. He hasn't done anything. There is no reason to make an enemy for no reason."

The others nodded.

"What if we run into him?" Alice asked.

Carlisle looked at her.

"Then try and find out his purpose in being here."

"Preferably if you can get him to speak to me."

Alice nodded.

Forks.

Immortal Mansion.

"But… but master, I've not drank blood in days… if I go three more days, I will starve."

Viktor pleaded.

"Then go out and hunt a deer or something." Silas responded.

Viktor's eyes shot open in horror.

"Mast… master."

"No please… have mercy, I will do anything."

How can I Victor, Predator Of The Crescent Hunt… drink animal blood? If this gets out, how can I walk with my head held high?

"Master, please, have mercy."

Silas shook his head.

"Master.. you're… you're too cruel."

Viktor walked out of the living room dejectedly.

Silas looked at his figure and shook his head.

It's good with servants who take the initiative… but you also need to have the skill to take the initiative.

Forks.

Swan house.

"If spring training goes well, we could be moving to Florida." A voice over the phone said.

Insert a dollar…

"Mom, where's your cell."

"Okay, don't laugh, I didn't lose my power cord, it ran away, I literally repel technology now."

Bella laughed.

"I miss you."

"I miss you too, baby."

"But tell me more about your school, now what are the kids like?"

"Are they being nice to you?"

"Well, they are all very welcoming."

…

Forks.

Cullen house.

"What are you painting?" Esme asked as she walked into Alice's room.

Alice looked over and put down her brush.

"It's my new classmate, Silas."

"I've gotten this weird inspiration to draw him since I saw him at lunch."

Esme looked at the painting.

"Look's good… your skills have improved."

Alice nodded

"The painting doesn't quite do him justice… but you get an idea."

Esme smiled.

"This is the first time I've heard you talk about a classmate."

Alice nodded as she looked at the painting.

"This is the first time I've had such a pleasant conversation at school."

Esme smiled as she watched Alice's side profile. Her eyes were lost in the painting.

"Well, maybe you can be friends." Esme said.

Alice nodded absentmindedly then picked up her brush.

Esme shook her head and walked out.

Friends…
