Me and Carla eventually arrive at the aquarium. We see Yuki sitting on a bench near a tree.
"Yuki! I've missed you!" Carla says excitedly with her arms wide.
"It's only been a day though..." Yuki says.
"Hmph, you're no fun." Carla says, pouting.
"...Anyway, why'd you two arrive together?" Yuki asks.
"Oh that's because we-"
"Met each other on the way here... right?" I interrupt, emphasizing the 'right?'
"Yeah..." Carla says, shocked by how I interrupted her.
Carla is an impulsive person, says things without thinking it through. If Carla says we went to the park together an hour earlier, Yuki might say it to Yui. If Yui hears about it... I don't know what ideas he could get, I dont want any misunderstandings. Its a cliché I absolutely hate.
'Wait... haven't I been getting into very cliche-like scenarios?' The infirmary, the 'are you sick?', and the park. Aren't all of these something you'd always see in a romcom? I start to realize, I'm slowly becoming the main character. Then what would happen to Yui? Would Yui get demoted to a side character? I don't want that though, because of Clara. I want her to be happy, I believe if she ends up with Yui, she's going to end up happier than if she is with me. I can't deny the fact that Yui is a good person. Yui deserves her more than I do.
These thoughts quickly get interrupted by the arrival of Yui.
"YUI! You finally arrived!" Carla says brightly.
"Yeah... sorry I'm a bit late. There was a bit of a commotion earlier." Yui says.
I breathe a sigh of relief, Yui is still the main character, the reason being is about the 'commotion' he mentioned. In the anime, he also arrives late because a girl with pink hair in a different school was being harassed by a group of delinquents, at first he wanted to leave but he came back and saved the girl by saying that she was his 'girlfriend'. This caused the girl to fall in love with him and also showcases his development as a character. However, the girl fell for him a little too hard, to the point she crashes the date we are in right now.
I look around, and behind one of the trees, there she is. The biggest simp in the world. I think her name was 'Sayaka Ito'. I definitely don't want to deal with her on a daily basis.
"Where are you looking at?" Yuki asks me.
"Just admiring the trees, that's all" I say turning towards her.
The four of us starts walking towards the entrance. This new character, stalking Yui. What is she going to do?
