It's been 3 months since the annihlation of the local Blanche cell. Things returned to normal. Tatsuya has been doing some stuff in the background. Not my business. The nine school competion is in half a month. So I've been working practicing for the first years monolith code. It might seem like cheating considering the spells allowed for the competition. Mayumi wanted to "guarantee the win." make sense. I'm also participating in men's ice pillars break.
Despite not being shown in the anime, It is an event. In fact the only gendered events are monolith code and mirage bat.
Considering how destructive my magic is again basically guaranteed victory. Kuro is participating in the girls ice pillars break for first years. Her outfit choice is suprising. Note that only girls dress up for ice pillars break men have the option but don't normally.
Sakura is not participating for three reasons. One, she didn't want to. Two, it would be so absurdly unfair for the story not even funny. Three it would be hard to explain what spells she cast as her CAD is fake.

"Shun Morisaki! If you break formation one more fucking time. I will snap your knees to make a point!"

I have to deal with Shun Morisaki. Because I hate him. I am intentionally pointing out everything wrong with what he's doing and not offering suggestions to fix it. Is it petty and shitty, yes. Am I enjoying yelling at him, most definitely. Had he attempted to get me removed from the team by complaining. Also yes, but ultimately futile. Reputation and ability trump me bullying a jackass I don't want to deal with.
"Fuck it! out of time for practice. I'm going home."
I walked out without answering. The other guy was some friend of his I wasn't paying attention. I was strict with him too but not as strict as with shun. As I was approaching the gate I saw Mayumi waiting at it.
"Ryu, can I ask why you so difficult with your monolith code team."
"Shun complained again I see. Eh he doesn't need one of his hand."
She didn't react. Knowing I was just aggravated and didn't want to deal with him, that I wasn't serious.
*sigh*
"President why do I have to deal with him. I know the competition is course one only, but there are people with so much better skills than him in course two."
"Unfortunately my hands ar currently tied. I know you don't like him just tolerate him."
"Fineeeee. Anyway are we still short on engineering staff?"
"Unfortunately yes. It's a real problem that most students aren't interested."
"If I recall the course one only restriction doesn't extend to engineers. Why not look through students in course two. If I recall Tatsuya Shiba is interested in engineering. You could ask him but you'll probably need minimum to convince him."
Sorry, I'm throwing you under the bus again Tatsuya. But it's also true no one is better than you in the entire school. Well except Sakura but she has a very fair advantage.
I bid mayumi farewell and went home. I as soon as I closed the door I was tackled by Kuro.
"Kuro please stop tackling me when I get home. I know I'm tough, but it's not comfortable."
She pouted. I patted her head. Which caused her to smile. Happy Kuro is best Kuro.
"Anyway I'm home. Where's Sakura?"
"In the basement said something about making some spells others could use. without her absurd processing power that is."
Well that's a terrifying concept.
"I'll go check on her let's order takeout tonight. I'm tired from dealing with morons" I tossed her my phone for food delivery.
I would later remember that letting Kuro order dinner was a bad idea. She ended up ordering an absurd amount of fried chicken from a restaurant. It was so much they brought it over multiple trips. Thankfully we have enough money. I would later scold her about this. But on the bright side fried chicken for a week or so depending on Kirk's mood or appetite.
I took the elevator down to the basement. Sakura wasn't there or so I thought. As suddenly two large melons were pressed against my back. I just caught a glimpse of her becoming visible.
"Is there a reason your sneaking up on me invisible."
"Ugh how dense can you be."
I wasn't dense I was fully aware she was interested in me for some reason. She had made it blatantly obvious over the past two months. However she's done everything besides admit it. I also don't know how to feel about this chaos gremlin having feelings for me. I mean she hot that's undeniable.
*Sakura*
"Sakura, I'm not dense. You've made your feelings blantantly obvious."
Hell there was a whole week she wandered the house naked.
"However I have no clue why you like me. And although you've been around for like 3 months even with prior knowledge of you. I barely know anything about you. So I'll admit it I'm interested in you, but being together lets date or something and figure it out"
I wasn't used to this. Although I was engaged to Kuro. Our relationship ship was kinda shotgun in pace. so I was unclear on what to do.
"Hmmmmm. Fine it's true we don't know each other very well. But I will make you love me."
I admire her confidence to say that with a straight face.
"Well come on I… oh fuck."
"What?"
"I was so distracted about the idea of you making magic. I gave Kuro my phone to order take out."
"Well I guess she's picked what we're eating for the week."
She patted my back, probably out of pity.
Dinner was good. I just wish that it wasn't so much. Kuro needs to learn to hold back. Or made it's a metabolism thing given her genetic modifications. Hadn't thought about it. Atleast she's not Saber levels of food consumption.
After dinner we recived a call from Major Kazama. I told Sakura to leave the room. The Major starts drinking at the sight of her. Just in case she starts getting complicated and nonsensical.
"Good evening Special officer Ryu, to special officer Kuro as well."
We saluted.
"Major."
"At ease you two. After this I'll be contacting Tatsuya as well. I've heard you and Kuro are going to be participating in the Nine Schools competition."
"That is correct sir. I'm participating in Monolith code and we're both participating in our respective brackets of ice pillars break."
"I wish you well in your endeavor. However I've called to let you know. The competion this year be targeted this year by foreign interests."
"Foreign interests sir?"
My eyes narrowed.
"The competition may be targeted by the no head dragon syndicate, from the Great Asian Union. The 101 magician equipped battalion will be at the venue for the competition. However, it is always good to be on guard."
"I understand."
Major Kazama made some unimportant small talk, before hanging up to call Tatsuya .
"Well I guess we will need to keep our guard up. Come on let's go to bed we got preparation to make."
"Okay!!"
"Oh and we are just going to sleep. Your being punished for buying too much food again."
"Awwww."
With that banter we went to our room, cleaned up, and fell asleep.

If you mean you antics in trying to seduce him. I was originally going to write them but couldn't think of anything to bridge the time skip or shorten it. Be glad I didn't just make you fuck over the time skip and said oh they got together over the last 3 months.
