Chapter 10 - This is worth millions

He pressed the word 'SCALE' on his mirror until square buttons appeared, written on it were the mathematical symbols of positive and negative or, addition and substraction, or more commonly known as plus and minus.

Between the buttons was a rectangular shaped box containing the number '0'.

He tapped the plus button frantically.

After an endless amount of frantic tapping, the numbers that appeared on the box changed to +200.

Roy pinched a small ball made of thin cloth, barely the size of a human nail, and inside it were tiny specks of gold dusts, glinting as it reflected light on Roy's lightbulb.

He tossed the ball toward his magical mirror until it landed at the upper region of the village, more than three kilometers away.

He leaned forward and saw that the tiny ball of cloth turned into the size of a human head.

Joy filled his eyes instantly, he immediately extended his hand and retrieve the enlarged ball of cloth.

When he opened the cloth, the tiny dusts of gold inside turned into large gold nuggets.

Excitement surged through his veins like adrenaline.

He jumped and ran around at his apartment, laughing and shouting wildly as if being chased by ghosts.

The gold weighed more than five kilograms.

Worth more than $390,000.

Upon reviewing the gold's worth, Roy could not contain his joy any longer.

His smile widened from ear to ear, he laughed even more wildly.

Then suddenly, he realized.

If the small dusts of gold he had collected earlier worth thousands, then if he collect more, he would earn millions.

The idea of money flowing into his wallet like a tidal wave made him more excited.

He let out a wide grin.

---

Dawn settled across the horizon, even before the first light had arrived the people inside the mirror already began cooking their meals.

Boiling water released steam from burning red pots, wild herbs were poured in followed by large slices of meat.

Inside the mirror, the atmosphere was already lively, people were already preparing, workers packed their materials and tools, woman washed dirty clothes on the river, childrens running around with other childrens.

While outside, the supposed-to-be God of righteousness, lay snoring on the floor like a sleeping baby forgotten by it's parents.

Roy was so exhausted he didn't realize he had fallen asleep.

The loud noise coming from the mirror traveled through his ears, waking him up.

He rubbed his eyes, stretched his limbs, and stammered when he realized he was still in his living room.

Roy immediately went to the kitchen, grabbed the things he had bought from the store yesterday, meat, vegetables, bread, fruits, and canned foods.

He went inside the mirror, dark circles surrounded his temples like a panda and stepped at the very center of the village.

Sensing his presence, the entire population immediately paused and dashed toward the village.

A enormous tide of people flooded the village, his presence triggered a massive stampede of ragged figures that if someone were to fall or tripped, they would immediately be killed by the thousands of running villagers.

Together, the villagers dropped to one knee, performing a respectful salute to Roy.

Roy cleared his throat, swept his gaze onto the kneeling masses, and spoke in a loud, sharp tone that radiated authority.

"Today, I will again bestow food before you." He said, his voice traveled across the countless kneeling figures, " So please, step away from the fields. I repeat, step away from the fields."

He then gestured to Bah Long and Sor Sogon.

The two immediately gave orders and a large number of thin figures wearing crude iron armor dispersed from the crowd and went to the field.

Soon the soldiers ran back along with workers still holding hammers and tools, sweat poured from their foreheads as they stammered to the village and bowed in one knee.

One soldier approached closer and spoke to Sor Sogon.

Sor Sogon repeated what the soldier had said, he said that the fields are now clear and no one was around to interrupt Roy's benevolence.

Roy immediately exited the mirror, swip the screen to the right until a wide, plain grassland appeared.

He grabbed the food he had prepared, and dopped them one by one.

The villagers watched with wide eyes, as the heavens split in half and enormous objects came crashing to the ground.

Dust and dirt were sent flying as food landed to the ground.

More objects came, creating a large mountain of provisions.

Roy went back to the mirror, and announced to the crowd that he had some errands to attend, so he will not be able to monitor the village for the rest of the day.

He called out for Sor Sogon and Bah Long, appointing them as overseers to watch over the workers while he was gone.

The two bowed deeply, accepting the decree with absolute respect and obedience.

With that, Roy exited the mirror again and packed the gold nuggets he had collected and enlarged.

When the great Immortal returned to the heavens, the villagers immediately set to work.
